I was thinking of this when I wrote the paragraph. The last para suggests something else is going on elsewhere perhaps that might need including in the PEA? If this is true, then maybe they are waiting for permits to pursue this "additional find!??

Addicknt - if the PEA includes additional drilling results elsewhere that SOLG would like to mention, surely they need to ensure they have all the permits in hand before releasing it and the govnt onboard?
But your number 1 does sound feasible.

Seriously though the silence is deafening and can only be down to one of three things perhaps:
1. NM needs to ensure SOLG and the government are fully aligned to his plans and their regs.
2. NM has had a proper offer for the company (or a JV) and needs to complete his due dilligence.
3. NM is working all back channels hard, to get full possession of CGP.

In case you were asleep at the time, many operators have been drilling without permits hence the local protests across the country. The government haven't decided or agreed on all the permits. We haven't been told by sOLG that their drilling has all the relevant permits, have we? We simply assumed................................

Correction to my last. It has been pointed out that the drilling permits (scout) have no correlation to Alpala. They are for work elsewhere.

The PEA report is overdue.
No news on mining permits.
No MRE since November.
Why is SOLG going silent at such a sensitive time?
Is the delay to do with CGP? Surely we aren't waiting for NM and Colin M to make up are we?
Everyone who is remotely interested in this relationship knows by now that SOLG buying out CGP is simply not going to happen in a month of Sundays.
Can you assure us that something will appear soon - regarding the PEA?

will advise Juncker to give GB an extension to June and then roll it forward from there as and when we want further extensions. May won't be dealing with the EU by then.
Market likes this, hence uplift in SP.

Putting out an rns now means the PEA is a long way off. Market isn't happy with NM's delaying tactics, it seems.

Let's dream for a moment......

A giant has made a bid for the company and NM has accepted. Checks and measures need to be in place before going public:
PEA is complete and the buyer is happy.
Government is happy (if for instance it is a chinese buyer).
Permits are in place.

And it is the latter that everyone is waiting on.
