I normally reserve comment for the ostriches amongst us. But atleast the ostriches live in the happier side of cloud cuckko land and at the end of the day ...do no harm.
However, what you did with that post was, at its very least, unethical. There may be some 'bad' news to come but no - one knows that, especially the MM's and consequently everyone goes about their business as best they casn. But your flagrant disregard for the thoughts of others - in passing on what is probably misleading information, could and probably has caused undue stress and anxiaety amongst a lot of shareholders on this board.
There was absolutely no need to pass that info on (even if it was illegally obtained). It was unethical and immoral.
Your actions have precipitated a backlash which reflects the fear you have instilled. I am sure, if there is an ounce of humility in you - that you will apologise for the harm you may have caused.

ssmith - come october, gthe big shareholders have their shackles removed - they'll either sell up (yea right!) or buy Solg at this current SP. It's going for a song and an uninvited takeover is definitely on the cards.

It's a bit 'tumbleweed' in here at the moment because the stock is going backwards, even after all the froth surrounding this company has blown away.
You will find the usual 'ostriches' on here who have 'bigged' this company up for years and years, hoping for ricvhes this week, next week, the week after. The worst were the chartists who, thankfully have had their charts blown clean out of the water over the future of this SP.
Problems afoot: SOLG need more cash - and because they 'appear' to want to go it alone, then they will find it difficult to rais the sort of money they need in these times where loans are few and far between. Then there is Ecuador - full of illegal mining activities taking up an enormous amount of the military's time trying to quell them and the next GE due late next year where a new president might turn against the legal mining activities to pacify his people. Ecuador is also ripe with corruption which hampers progress.
Your biggest problem though is reading posts from boy wonders who think it is all going to happen tomorrow and for loads of money.
It aint! The stock will continue to drop until a major buys it for peanuts. My bet hasn;t changed...this will sell for 50p to one or two bidders....or thereabouts...when the PFS comes out.

This has all the makings of a takeover, ther SP is being driven south, the comms from head office subdued, all because we are in for an RNS advising that Solg are in negotiation with a major over a takeover.
Anna has better things to do with her spare time than speak to a couple of do-gooders from this site asking irrelevant questions. She is now a director on the board and is a very bust person preparing the way for this bid.
The SP is being lined up for a takeover. and 50p or thereabouts is what will be the sale price for Solg. £1 billion for the 'current' valuation of this company.

In answer to your previous para - I have not sold my {500k} shares because I, too believe(d) the SP would climb considerably, post the CC ruling. It hasn't, I'm pi**ed off. IF I sold now with a small profit, what would be the benefit to me if I knew that sometime soonish (ha) this stock will takeoff because all the fundamentals are there. So I will hang around for as long as it takes because the money I have invested has already been ringfenced.
My 'prediction' is just that Max - a guess based on my limited research of the situation. If I knew the stock was definitely going south, then I would be shorting it again, wouldn't I? Who knows where it is going but another prediction I have is that if any more dull and neautral RNS's come out then this stock will sit in the gutter for months and months. Only the MRE 3 and or a takeover will shift this crock of sh 1 te.

YES - it will come good, yes everyone will make money but don't bust a gut making out this recent RNS is good/excellent....it is totally lacking in anything of value it is just a quick dusting of what they are up to generally - NO deposits declared, no grades, nothing. Very neutral/dull RNS.
As has been mentioned by others (rather than the usual ostriches) - the stock is stagnant and almost beginning to smell!
As FR101 said - the MM's have lost interest in this minnow for the foreseeable future.
Expect a gentle see-sawing decline to low 20's.

Novice - firstly why are you responding ? I thought you'd filtered me?
2ndly - I felt that SXX was definitely onto something and that they would make a huge success of it. What put me off after being with them from several years ago was that they were transparent in their shareholder updates and declared that it would be atleast 2021 before production started. I had no intention of 'watching paint dry' until then and so, baled @ 26p.
Now here I am with Solg in potentially the same situation where Solg is going to be very successful if they go to production in 2024 ish and by rights, I should bale because of the time line.
The big difference though, is this:
1. Solg gold have not made me enough money to be able to dump them (after the recent CC issue) and walk away with a big enough profit to make it worth my while.
2. Solg may very well be bought out fairly soon and this attracts me.
If - later in the year the SP hits 50p (as I have always suggested) due to a buy out. I will dump this pain in the ar*e company faster than you can say "filtered". I have no intention of waiting until 2024 FFS.
