The moment NM got too big for his boots and decided to run with production the big boys have decided to teach him a lesson and watch him milk himself dry. Perhaps then they will pick up the pieces. There's no room for a pipsqueak like SOLG to join the club.
Isn't this the real reason he has to look elsewhere for some further cash to prop his company up other than BHP and Newcrest?
The man's too long in the tooth and lost the plot. He will have to eventually tow the line and buy into a massive deal, if this company is to move forward....but it won't all be on his terms.
Either he's opted for state, or chinese financial assistance we shall soon find out.

So why the difference?
I do my research on SOLG for literally years, speaking to pro's in the market place and listening to 2experts2 galore (not here - obviously!). And I end up with a 'pup' or should I say a "dog" of a share. Loosing 50% of my stock value ina few months...and yet...
over on AIM, I invest in a non descript, bit player which recently, simply advertises to the world that it has a 'sniff' of gold in Tasmania or somewhere and the stock rockets 400+ percent in weeks. WTF????
Is there any rhyme or reason behind all of this or does it simply remind oneself that the whole thing is one big PUNT?
At this rate my GGP stock will eclipse that of SOLG simply on the basis of pure unadulterated guess work!

NM is trying to do this with the minimum of interference from outsiders, but he's struggling and out of his depth.
The product will come good but under the control of one of the financial backers....not NM.

NM wants to go to production SOLO. To do that he needs big bucks but his T's and C's aren't acceptable to any future partners.........so they are watching his company drop in value until they can buy him out for a song.

My SP guess is: 74p for 2020.
However, should the SP rise above £1(AT ANY TIME IN 2020), then I will immediately donate £2020 to the charity of choice.
