How do situation like this happen? If you can't buy a stock, is that due to supply/demand? If so, would the price not go up?
To simply say "computer say no" when you want to buy has to have some feedback as a result.... Otherwise it smells manipulation or price suppression
What is going on now? I am confused...
I watch this stock all the time, but haven't purchased any.
Personally, the mining license reaction seems very similar to when Jangada Mines Plc released news about their trial mining license being granted. The rise wase minimal since people were deciding to sell on the immediate good news and move on to something else.
The definiteive feasibility study will hopefully have a better reaction. But in the end, it's cash flow from production that is always the end goal.
Hi guys :D
So given that contractors are getting involved - does this mean that negotiations are taking longer with potential partner/takeover? it would make sense not to need large infrastructure during a trial mining license, doesn't it?
yeah that 2858 sell was me. I partied too hard on the weekend....
This consolidation period has been a long one for sure. once that upwards trend starts, there's no stopping it.
It would be a extremely confusing to not see the price move up after this news.... too much good news and no positive effect on the price is getting really weird at this point.
Scooby - So just for the point of conversation, what challenging conditions are ongoing with the AIM market?
Dcat, you legend! Thank you.
Thanks for helping me understand better Dcat.
I am very new to mining stocks and am trying to better understand the factors at play a role in determiningthe SP.
It's not simply the rate of production that will play a part in the share value, is it? The PEA plays a vital role, and any additional evidence added onto it, but that information simply adds to investor confidence by valuing the company based on what is in the ground before it's extracted?
I wanted to ask, simply for discussion:
Lets say that Jangada gets a full mining license, would their yearly production stick to the 1.1MT stated in the original PEA, or does the 1.1MT production strictly refer to the 2 out of 8 areas drilled?
It does seem like this stock is really struggling to go above 8p since that placement of new shares were issued, regardless of the good news. should we not feel lucky that the upward pressure still exists until the sellers have disappeared?
@Obelix ooooh! Be sure to take loads of pictures (with permission of course)
I never said i was investing for 4 years. so a mining company that has been around since 2010 is still junior and still exploring? bad luck for all the investors here
getting investors' attention is the typical strategy..... drilling, PEA, mining license, production... getting whats in thew ground OUT of the ground and selling it for money.... ya know.... mining? hence why people call it mining stocks....?
when it comes to the criticism of empire metals, I am definitely in the right place.
what does a loans company have to do with mining stocks?
No, I think the smart investors were buying at 7.88p in 2017.
I can't help but feel really bored by this company.
Besides all the people talking this company up, it fails to do one thing.... talk itself up. this company has potential, it has no debt, good prospects, but zero excitement.
Tell me if you think I'm wrong, which is fine, but the anticipation is all but gone and the smart investors have dissapeared to other opportunities. I am just waiting to break even and get out of this rut...
