Alfa Topped up on IG this morning and haven't seen this message on either platform before. Strange.

Solid RNS out - just topped up. Potential partners still involved in discussions and drilling pace being picked up.

Can't buy only sell on Spreadex again this morning.

Alfa Thanks again for your analysis. I found it strange that the bid dropped late on for no apparent reason and I couldn't see day traders being involved so soon after the shorting earlier in the week. The matched trades and collusion between at least some of the MM's seems a highly likely explanation. As you've said in the past when buys exceed sells the SP rises (eventually!). Patience required as always. We have a large tame seller who will go sooner or later leaving strong upward pressure on the SP. This could easily be exacerbated by a piece or 2 of positive news. I thought we'd hear something on Lemur pre-Xmas?

Strider - I look forward to your daily updates on positives about SOLG. There are risks too and serious and informed posters on this board take a balanced view and know what these risks are. This is a high quality board with some really well- informed posters - thanks to all of you for improving my knowledge of SOLG. I almost think I could deliver Nick's presentation now that I have heard it so many times! Lots of good info here for anyone who wants to make a good return in the medium-term.

I've posted my own comments on the IC site below the article to point out the more positive numbers in the Hannam report. Anyone else with an IC sub? Good to provide as much good info as possible. Let's hope a few more research this terrific company.

Hi goldenveg Here's the quote from the Hannam initiation report on take out comparator prices.

'Our analysis of recent M&A in the copper and gold space suggests an average takeout multiple of ~US$413 per tonne of copper equivalent resource, more than three and a half times SOLG’s current level and implying a potential price tag of GB124p per share – or 245p per share if SOLG were to deliver a doubling in the Resource.' Well we got around double the resource with a few more km still to be added. I agree that IC has been very conservative. The later Hannam reports upped their non-takeout target price to 80p by 30 June 2019. So much though is unknown over the next 6 months with the 80p in my view representing a minimum figure based on Alpala alone with little added for other potential discoveries. We are still at the start of a journey here, a journey which we may or may not complete as SOLG.

Nice summary article on The Assay magazine on vanadium. I hadn't appreciated the potential scale of use for vanadium batteries in shipping. Given the high pollution in this area this could be another big market for VRFB's.

Thanks for your excellent analysis - very helpful and I suspect not far away from reality.

Shipright I don't have the answer but as you say the low volume on TSX likely rules that out. Other possibilities are larger trades split into small amounts and dribbled onto the market, trades following parameters such as the copper or gold price, 50 or 200 day moving averages, spread bets or similar or any combination of the above. All we can see is the outcome not the reason. On MoneyAM there aren't 500k trades but I know that different platforms show different information. SP moving in the right direction though.

I was following SP progress today and it seemed almost all trades were 'AT' autotrades hence the small volumes. Unusual in that they were almost all buys and quite a lot of action outside SETS going by the volumes on MoneyAM - presumably DMA trades (the algo's?). Not sure how these algo's are programmed but a very positive outcome today. I took the chance to add a few more today.
Strider4 - I like the daily update - good to be reminded of why we all invest here.

Seems to be some real urgency in 50k sells today. Is tomorrow the start of something we don't know about or is our seller just in a hurry?

Given our discussion on shorts earlier today here is a link to the Euroclear site. You can access limited data as a guest. This shows an average of 1.1m BMN shares on loan in October rising to just over 1.5m in November. I can't access the December data. Seemed to be 0 for September. All in all it doesn't look all that significant although it could have risen in December. Patience still required. Any shorters are likely to be stung badly when the SP switches and they'll get no support from the MM's as we know.

Strider4 I recall Anna (or Jason) saying in a presentation a few weeks back that we should expect a regional update pre year end which Is what I'm expecting any time now.

DG1 Thanks for sensible posts. It feels to me that SOLG has turned a corner this week. Not sure there are any insto buys but there are less sellers and a few bigger buys coming back into play. Even without news pre-Xmas I am positive that sentiment is slowly improving. Should we get any strong RNS it could accelerate sp momentum. Best to all.

Currently 41.5p to buy so 250k looks like a buy to me!
