gkb47 Apologies for delayed reply - been shopping which is a bit mad today as everyone else is too! I checked the link whilst logged out to IG as well as logged in and you get 2 different screens. When logged in there is a lot more info including short/long positions and other positions taken by those holding positions in BMN. Also news/financials etc but this is similar to other sites. If you are not logged in you just get a chart and some general info. From memory I think you can set up an IG account without opening any positions which would give you access to the site info. This includes real-time indices/commodities/share prices etc. Not sure if there is a time limit on this but I think I had an account for a week or 2 before I funded it.

nick Thanks. Despite a morning of overwhelming buys it seems the MMs have decided on their final SP for the day and it is no higher than it is now. One day we have a straight and transparent market. Meanwhile all unusual moves continue to be recorded for future reference. Good luck all.

This site is a valued source of information for new and prospective investors. Without the LSE site it would have taken me longer to research BMN and initiate an investment. For that reason and others I am not leaving this site to trolls and ill-informed posters. As a shareholder I see it as an obligation to myself to facilitate an informed debate and encourage others to see the inherent value in BMN that I and others see. I don't see an agenda from LSE admin and I speak as one who has also had a post removed that was harmless. I think it likely that whole threads including good posts are being removed and this explains most of the positive posts going. Add in some mischief-making by a small number of posters with an agenda that is not in the interests of share holders and we have the reasons for disruption. There are few negative posters here and they will go in due course, particularly if swamped by factual and evidence posts such as we saw last night from many well-informed genuine investors. Just look at the recommends for our well-informed posters compared to more recent negative posters.

gkb47 I have an account with IG so not sure of the answer to that but here is the link to the IG page for BMN. If you follow the link and find the BMN page the answer is yes. The different platforms have different market data. Spreadex, which I have also used inb the past does not seem to show short/long positions. Not sure about the other platforms.

This give s a link to monthly short positions if you access as a guest. However you can't access current data. Having looked at this on and off over the last few months there is minimal if any shorting of BMN stock.

fatbanker Thanks for the article on the positive view of the Vanadium market for the next 2 years. In line with what many here have said about tight supply and increasing demand, this isn't going to change any time soon.

Checked IG tonight to see that 100% of all positions held within IG (that's between 51-250 investors) are long on BMN. That means that no PI's are holding short positions on the IG platform. These are real investors holding real positions. That to me is a vote of confidence in the future direction of this stock and I hope will reassure 1 or 2 of our more sceptical posters on the board today who have been promoting alternative views without any evidence.

Serenus I sympathise with your loss of posts. This also happened to me when replying to a post which was more erudite than normal for a de-ramper - I don't usually reply at all. However the poster disappeared entirely so happy with the outcome. I looked recently at the recommends for trolls and real Bushies. Usually about 3 at most for trolls - they are heavily outnumbered by more realistic and truthful posters who are investors in BMN - 20+recommends at times. Trolling may not be illegal as far as I know but those that employ or encourage them seem to me to be taking unneccesary risks with the law in their financial behaviour.

Nick mentioned it in the Q&A at the end of his recent webcast as far as I recall. He was also against splitting the company up - or so he said. He is a poker player for sure.
The IC article is interesting in trying to figure out who it is aimed at. Surely it can't be copper acquirers who already know about SOLG and will have picked up that it can be bought if the price is high enough. Not sure it's other institutional investors either - they may need the certainty of the PEA first. Is it an attempt to bolster the sp? Is he appealing to PI's? I recall Nick saying 2 or 3 months ago that SOLG were vulnerable. Did he mean vulnerable to a low-ball take out in Nick's eyes? An exciting 2019 to come I think starting with regional news, maybe a resource/drilling update and then the PEA? Still a great investment imho.

To note repeat pattern from earlier today is back with us right now - sp declining on sustained buying. Must get my economics books out.

Richyf3 - Thanks for the twitter post. Good to see drilling continuing over the holidays and this gives a real sense of urgency to Q1. There's no doubt in my mind thaty the Board has upped their game in recent weeks on the comms and the action fronts. I have topped up recently. Fundamentals remain incredibly strong. There will always be volatility in SP moves, partly I'd suggest JBER seemed to be active in pushing the SP down then active in moving it up last week. Best to ignore and focus on next 3 months. Tony and co can't affect the copper market but can deliver on drilling, assays and partners. I am expecting all 3 by the end of Q2 at the latest.

Kevwal Good price to buy at. We seem to be trading in the same pattern as yesterday. Significant buying earlier by Nickderby and others and the SP stays still then more recently repeat buys leading to a share price decline. I thought the laws of supply and demand worked the other way round - the more you buy the higher the price goes? I'm still waiting for sells that will explain SP drops from earlier today that haven't yet been reported eg around 8:15. I'm sure there must be good market reasons for these SP moves in line with the LSE code?

I'll add my weight to that view - MM's are not following LSE guidelines on operating a transparent and fair market. There are plenty of experienced posters on this board who know market abuse when they see it and when it is so blindingly obvious.
