SavShare7 The blocker of over 1m shares on the offer at 41.5p has gone. This appeared as I recall when the sp was around 40p and threatened to go higher. The 250k's on the offer at 44, 44.25, 44.5, 44.75 and 45p are still there.

Jerry We have come to similar conclusions and posted at the same time. This should restore some confidence although CGP games are not helpful. Maybe this is because Solg now see the value of Cascabel being much greater than they had thought late last year? Patience required. PEA maybe next month?

I think this could have a positive effect. The market has been cocncerned about lack of news and this confirms I think that Cascabel looks likely to be more than the +10 or 20% that Nick mentioned last November. I am also interested in the tone of the RNS which is quite restrained compared to last year. This RNS has been released because it had to be but they are pretty excited about what it shows. After all the rigs haven't moved from Alpala and that says something to me.

gkb47 It does seem odd that MM's can run a short for this length of time although I also believe that is what they are doing. My understanding is that they do not need to print the overall trade until it is complete. eg if the order is to sell 28m shares nothing is printed until all 28m are sold. Not very transparent at all but then the market is not balanced between MM's and PI's the way that it is set up.

1750mk1 It's not possible to tell whether it's a sell or buy but I agree that the sp has held up well over the last week. Certainly 1 or 2 decent buy orders being filled and less sellers than of late. It doesn't take much volume to push this up and it is well undervalued at present.

Some bigger buys going through over the last week is encouraging, perhaps being kept in the shade by the ongoing selling but prospects seem to be ready to pick up soon.

Thanks BBN. I don't have a fixed view but like you will review at key points. I attach a lot of importance to management that gives shareholders confidence so will particularly looking for this in the next few months.

I'm fairly confident on the POO over the next few years. New field exploration and development has not been keeping up with expected demand. I like the commentaries produced by Goehring and Rozencwajg on resource markets. Refreshingly independent views which are supportive on prospects for the POO. Just need to sign up by email and you don't get bombarded with spam. Looking forward to reading tomorrow's results.

BBN Thanks for the figures and rational comments. Value can take a while to be realised by the market especially while sentiment appears to be low. I've had AMER on my radar for a while and have taken out an intitial position recently. Directors are well-invested and even if drilling is not as stellar as some hope the downside risk in the medium-term is low. There is still a chunk of 1.5m shares sitting on the offer which I'd hope would clear tomorrow following results.

Thanks Alfa for the latest article. Well worth a visit to the Conference see the shape of future uses for VRFB storage. I think there will be a quite a few imaginative uses developed as VRFB's become more widely used. The pace of implementation of electric vehicles and adoption of climate change mitigation measures will help. It is interesting to see in the USA that if Donald Trump wants a 2nd term he is likely to have to be far more supportive of climate change mitigation measures.

Richyf3 Spot on. MM's have dropped the sp today more than justified. Currently they are looking to buy twice as much as they have to sell so a misleading picture earlier today. sp my well rise a little more today back to where it started?

'transformational 2019 not 2029!

RNS - 'deepen leadership capacity on its growth journey' is the essential takeaway for me. A company growing as quickly as BMN needs to ensure it has the structure to support that growth.Also v positive to see Malcolm staying in consultancy role. Set up for transformational 2029. Div policy delay not ideal but as others have said here we should prioritise cash generated this year for growth of the business. Strong RNS.

Daisan Whilst agreeing with your general point South Africa is a little different given its huge solar and wind resource. There are many journeys taken by minicab and public transport which in total cover under 200 miles per day. These types of vehicles are ideally suited to battery technology. SA really can become the Saudi Arabia of green fuels with a bit of vision and application and Bushveld can play a major part in this.

The shorting that is currently happening here is through an organised group of private investors. There are patterns that can be seen. It has yet to unwind and when it does we will see the sp back closer to 40p even without news.

Daisydog There are a couple of issues in play just now from what I can see. There has been considerable shorting of Bushy shares over the last week or 2 and this I believe has still to unwind. This has been the main driver of the sp decline. Although the dividend news is a factor it is not the main driver of the sp fall. We are close to the turning point where shorters will have to buy back the shares they have shorted - this could happen today or in the ext few days but will likely happen soon.

The larger unposted sell is still out there as there must be some more shares still to sell. I think whoever is selling has a target price around 40-42p so we will have to wait for that large trade to be printed until we reach this sp level.

Nice buying into close including a couple for me. Plenty still available at this price but not likely for much longer.

Let's not forget we have other news to come this month. On top of this resource update we have NO debt and are generating significant amounts of cash every week. I know we've heard this before but the facts are unchanged. We are valued well below a typical PE for an average non-growth company on IM or on the JSE. The market will catch up eventually given time. Meanwhile we can build our stakes patiently and wait. The more shorters the better as far as I am concerned as it gives us all the chance to top up at lower prices than should be available. Only short-term or day traders should be worrying about short-term price fluctuations. Better to go and do something else other than watch the sp move hour by hour.

I remain very confident in BMN now, this year and beyond. It remains my largest investment for good reason. Although meeting the dividend timeline would help sentiment - an unnecessary own goal. I hope the company learns from that.

1 simple reason for lack of reaction to great news on SP front today could just be that the 3 prior days saw a 13% uplift in sp and today a few may have sold out that had bought in. Completely relaxed after this RNS - our time will come - maybe tomorrow and if not in the weeks and months to come. 2019 is going to be transformational as Fortune said.
