Order book looking fairly balanced at the moment - 200k available under 38p which is not a lot on a high volume day - of course a couple of broker reports or some news would help!

For info - I am sure we know this already - 'Outperform refers to a higher return on an investment than a particular benchmark over time. Outperform also refers to an analyst's rating on a security. It is a better rating than neutral and worse than a strong buy recommendation.' Would be good to see the detailed text but a good sign that another 2 brokers have positive notes out on Bushveld.

I have also tracked trades from end 2018 to now and agree wholly with Alfa's analysis. There have been more buys than sells - difficult to put an exact number ion it but it is a significant number. There must be a printed large volume sell once the selling is over, which presumably it is not. Given that we are not seeing large sells at present, my interpretation is that the MM's have instructions to sell some more but at a higher SP than we currently have - maybe 40-42p as appeared to be the case when we had larger selling volumes. I can't be certain on this but it is my interpretation.

Daisan I agree that free cash flow would be the sensible basis given Bushveld's current cash generation - say a percentage range - and also agree that capital discipline is important as Fortune said himself a while back. What I am not so sure of is what the cash outflow plans re capital spend could be for the next 3-5 years and how that would impact on cash available to distribute as dividends. I am sure that based on past experience Fortune and Mikhail do think 3-5 years ahead so am probably just wearing my accountant hat and wishing I could get stuck in and help out with some strategic planning!

Peterfal I had a post on another board which wasn't even mildly offensive to anyone. I expect this one to go down too! However I'd much rather the boards were being policed than the out of control situation that exists on advfn.

I know a div policy has been promised but in my own mind I wonder how even a policy can be pulled together at the moment when there are so many potential areas of fruitful growth for the company? I wonder if it is a bit premature? I would not be bothered if the policy came into force in 2020 at a low level. Much more important for me right now is confirmation of successful battery commissioning/handover to Eskom and a chunky Brits resource update followed by a Vametco target for this year of 3000-3200mtV. I am expecting BE and Brits updates this month - we need to stay patient! The value is proven for Bushy but the timing of when the market realises this cannot be predicted. This month, this year, next year - who knows - but it will come.

Very helpful as ever to see your analysis of trades, in my view even more useful to see reporting on the week's trades in one go and helpfully a day or 2 after the event to provide some perspective. Perhaps I could recommend more honeymoons in the Alfa household? A pretty balanced week overall with the risk mostly to the upside given news expected this week or next. In addition the highly positive news on Eskom and SA Govt's support for battery storage gives real support to BMN over the next few months and years.

gkb47 No sign of this being cleared yet but will come - I agree that there is a large unreported trade(s). I suspect the recent dip in sp has delayed further sales closing the position. However this just shows how opaque the market is. It is not set up to provide balanced information to investors.

Daisan Good spot. I see a delayed 100k sell through this morning. Overall though I make that c100k more sells than buys on a lowish volume of 575k which seems to indicate the sp drop is a touch overdone.

MM's are walking the share price down on low volume again to try and get some of the shares they sold during the last surge upwards. Don't be fooled and hold tight!

Daisan A delayed trade would be a normal assumption but that clearly was not the case yesterday when the bid fell from 37.5p to 36p on volume of 90,000 shares, mostly sells. There was 1 delayed trade between 8 and 9 for 79000 shares at 8:24am which was a uy! So trade was balanced in the first hour and yet led to a drop of 1.5p (4%) in the share price. I agree with Alfa's comments that the MM's are clearly trying to shake out a few shares to fill the gap from last week. In the absence of any other delayed trades coming through yet again the market is not a true one this morning. With news likely on Brits and BE probably next week they have little time to gain the shares they need. Hold tight and top up if you have the cash which is what I'll be doing. GLA

Could be an inter-MM transfer or rollover given the tight spread. Interesting that the last 2x 400k's have been timed to both look like sells when 1 is clearly not. Games continuing.
