Alfa Thanks for posting. Wow - what a speaker AOC is. Hopefully a future President. She's not a socialist just a realist who puts real people at the centre of her world. The problem I see in US politics is the self-interest, greed and money that funds so many Senate/House reps in the US. The system is corrupt whilst she speaks from the heart. Down with the system I say. 'Science is not partisan' is a great line too. Why did we not listen? Why are so many still not listening?

Interesting quote from Climate Policy Initiative Energy Finance article out today - “South Africa is well placed to benefit from new markets for minerals used in emerging low-carbon technologies, such as manganese and vanadium used in energy storage technologies."

Although there are risks to moving to low carbon energy there are also strong mitigations available. We don't have a choice in any event if we want to have a habitable planet in the next century.

I have also been a little frustrated about a BE news update not coming sooner given the battery commissioning that we knew was under way. However, now that we have read today's RNS I can't see what advantage there would have been in releasing a BE Q4 update in February. The company has got its timing right and as others have said we now they deliver, we have to trust them on how they time informing the market about that delivery.

What this RNS does amongst other things is de-risk the future potential of BE and battery storage for BMN further for those that need it. It solidifies the future prospects of battery storage on a very large scale. The contracts may not all be signed but this RNS gives significant reassurance to the market that BMN is capable of delivering with the progress on battery commissioning and the creation of electrolyte. The company is doing exactly what it said it was going to do. The underlying value will be recognised by the market and I believe today's news will help that. It may take some more newsflow to trickle into the media to bring new investors on board but they will come.

In my view deliberate tactics by the MM's to try and put a lid on the sp this morning. Only 1k shares being offered at 38.48p then a big gap with the MM's looking for 500k of our shares. By restricting the buy quantity to 1k this is an attempt to suppress the sp rising as they haven't any shares to sell.

I think of local views in the UK which can be strongly held on particular issues which don't affect national policies and their implementation. To go against the rationale for the recent IMF loan would reduce standing internationally and be quite risky in my view. I'm happy to hold, pending the release of news which is building up at 10km per month! I had thought we may be moving some drill rigs by now but there must be more to uncover at Cascabel which is positive.

Interesting RNS. It looks like the company has decided there will be no drilling/resource updates until after CGP bid is out there. Likely a tactical move? More patience required.

Still just 1000 shares on L2 at 37.37p to buy - share shortage still there with MM's keen to buy our shares. Good news on Friday helping as well as more resource info to come this week.

Only 10k to buy at 36.97p and MM's want lots of our shares.

If we take the current sp and a slightly higher FY profit I make the PE approx 6 for the year just ended. From Nickderby and others who commented on PE a while back the JSE average PE is around 18, with a typical growth miner sitting between 15-25 PE. However you look at it Bushveld is seriously undervalued at present. The market will catch up one day but I'd rather invest at a PE of 6 than one 3x the price, which would be a reasonable reflection of value ie around £1 (with nothing material added for BE). Ophidian Thanks for your knowledgeable post - very helpful and reassuring to see our resource grow. One slightly techy question from me. With the salt roaster having to work harder is time a factor in the quantity of vanadium output? If Vametco can produce approx 3.5kg/t and Brits 3.925kg/t does it take a bit longer to get to the 3.925kg/t? Thanks.

Anyone who has invested for a while will be aware that we need to act regularly against what our emotions are telling us. I have expected news this month from Bushveld and am a little surprised that it hasn't yet landed for Brits and Dividend policy. I suspect that BE Q4 is now going to be BE Q1 and a bigger update. Value investors identify value and then wait for the market to catch up. That is exactly where we are just now. We all have identified the value right now and also the enormous potential from BE over the next year or 2. Patience is required. I expect news this month but even if Bushveld disappoints and doesn't provide any (unlikely) I will still hold the same amount of shares - the value hasn't gone away - it is still there. It is likely that the company has been focussing its efforts on upping production levels amongst other priorities. I encourage holders to stand firm. This is NOT investment advice!

Very happy with RNS. Just think about the comms shambles we had last year - this f eels like a much more professional operation now. The company said they'd keep us up to date and they are delivering - exactly what shareholders want. I am not expecting anything on JV until nearer or just beyond BFS. If it comes earlier it is a bonus. Waiting a couple of months is hardly an imposition when you look at the value on offer. SP is still well below where it was last year and significant progress has been made since then so what's not to like. Patience required but not much of it!

It makes you wonder if LSE is the best place to post news about BMN? Maybe it's time to think about looking elsewhere.

Shorting the FTSE or other main markets (by 2x or 3x for example) is a sensible hedging strategy in bear markets - it offsets risk without you having to sell your shares. I appreciate that shorting is not for everyone and I haven't shorted anything in my life but am quite willing to do so if we see markets crash in order to protect against downside risk.
