Sorry I popped out missed it. The JJB placement was at a premium to the shareprice which at the time was c.25p and the OO price was 40p. However this is unusual and the normal situation is that money is raised at a discount to the current share price. The reason that JJB raised the money at a premium to the share price primarily was becasue some of the II's that had previously put money into the first fund raising did so at 50p and therefore if the second fund raising was done at 25p or less it would have seriously diluted the first investment. Look you can draw parallels here right the first fund raising done at 10p so same argument could apply i.e to keep those investors happy the second fund raising should also be done at 10p, and I hope this happens. In my opinion though it is unlikley (but not impossible).

Wake me up when this hits 20p.....v.disappointed this hasn't taken off on the 3rd August buy and Director Buy.

10p a share equity rasing when they can't sell the business for 4p?...does that sound sensible to you?.. read the last RNS which talked about 'significantt dillution'.

Pretty simple: ASTO have 250m shares in circulation with a s.p of c.3p. = £7.5M market cap. To raise £10m they will issue new shares (normally at a price below the current share price). Lets 'assume' they raise the money at 2p a share they will then issue 500m new shares total share pool of 750m shares now worth £7.5M + £10M = £17.5M divide by number of new shares in issue of 750m value per share is now 2.3p. It's not that stright forward though because if that money is burnt away on court costs, legal feese etc. yo are left with a 1p share value. By the way I think 2p a share is unortunatley a optimistc price. Fund raising coul be done at 1p.

Agree with Shadows take on this. A creditors scheme of arrangement is effectivley a tool to re-stucture debt with creditors the scheme could ask for better payment terms, interest rates etc. If passed by the court and signed by the minimum % of creditors (normally 75%) ASTO restrcture its debt based on whatever is in the scheme of arangements. Whilst tis would be atractive to someone mounting a t/o or the £10m cash injection. This pointsto the £10m cash injection being the likley outcome...a credtors scheme takes in the region of a month to complete after the court hearing if you were buying the company I doubt you would wait around that long. Another Q? Do you not think the spread is exceptionaly big at the moment?.....Discouraging buys? Another Buy order being filled? - Maybe / maybe not but prior to 3rd August the spread was 13.50 - 14.0p (0.5p) now it is 1.5p. Time will tell but if our buyer is back they don't need to buy many more to trigger at RNS.

I got in on a 'recommendation' before the buying started 4th August. Who knows you charts might know more than my recommendation but look at the volume that went through ,,,,, highest days trading even on the five year chart right?

Ok thanks for the clarification on your posistion .This is IMO a good short term punt....agree with your point re. taking profit....I have no problem selling and banking profit :-) ...my main share is JJB but i tend to dive in and out of other shares short term to realise profit to top up there...BGBL is serving as one of those short term prospects. I got in 2nd August was hoping to have got out latest yesterday......hoping for an exit soon.

To be clear I am in here as a short term investment. I was expecting this to have already made a move North.

I do expect news sooner rather than later though the trade on the 3rd August points to activity happening 5.1M shares traded in one day (the largest single days volume on this share I believe). Now how do you explain that? followed on the 4th August by 800k. So 5.8M traded half of which were sells and half buys. So someone bought 2.4M shares c. 2.4% of the business and no RNS announcing the buyer because they are below the declaration threshold so must be a new buyer right. Well they don't need to buy many more before and RNS is triggerred and then we should see some action IMO. GL.

They already have contracts in place with three of the big energy suppliers and are the biggest Smart Meter company in the UK. This may not consitute a 'monopoly' as other companies do exist but they have a 'head start' on them at the moment and are best placed to take advantage of the government mandate. In terms of share price decline I put this down more to government delays rather than BGBL performance. They have 155k meters installed. Last year their Meter installation increased by +63% mainly installing for NPOWER and British Gas. If the governemnet mandate was fast forwarded the meter installation would come. IMO.

Was a non-exec director. This doesn't mean that t/o talks are not on-going. Non-exec directors may / may not have knowledge of these. GLA.

There's not many people here! Look basically this company makes Smart meters, the governemnet are putting in place legislation to say that every home should have one, because it helps them meet green targets (homes fitted with Smart meters use less energy), BGLOBAL has a monopoly and stands to make lots of money with a government mandate backing it. Lots of investors relaised this piled in and the s.p shot up to 50p ish. Then the govenerment realised that we were falling on hard times and delayed the legislation, investors piled out and the share price re-traced to where it was. (Broadly). However this legislation is still going through its just a matter of timing. Add into the mix that the governement is encouraging more competition amongst energy companies and BGLOBAL can help energy companies differentiate their services then there is immediate opportunity for BGLOBAL....wouldn't suprise me if one bought out BGLOBAL to have exclusivity on smart meter services. Errr...and also BGLOBAL have cut costs as a result of the delay and are plugging the potnential sale gap with new services Half Hourly metering is the latest on which they announced in March and an extension to an existing customer contract was a agreed 4th August...thats a top level run down for you.
