In addition, the technology also allows residents to receive more accurate energy bills, permits enhanced control of consumption, and provides a clearer picture of patterns and trends of their energy usage. Ultimately, by taking advantage of the Bglobal HH metering system’s features, consumers can enjoy significant energy consumption reductions and cost savings. Bglobal’s industry accredited HH solution was launched in April 2011. The company says its goal was to bring “a market driven philosophy, exceptional value and excellent levels of customer service to this sector of the market. I assume this is a sell because although the RNS doesn't contain information about the shares they held before the transaction it does state the 6% threshold was crossed and when you look on BGBL website under shareholder information they held 6.2M shares (6.2%) on 1st August when it was last updated. http://www.bglobalmetering.com/shares-in-issue.aspx So is this one of our sellers? If so who is the buyer and why no RNS? They must have breached the 3% threshold. Thoughts?

Still off the radar..but a few PI's starting to notice the increased volume over 100k bought in the first hour of trrading (three days ago 60k bought and sold in whole day). Two more big trades at 14.5p of 400k shares each totalling 800k. As 14.5p was the mid price this may have been a buy and a sell at 14.5p or a mm transaction. Certainly some II action behind the scenes though...just need the mystery buyer to reveal themselves. I have also worked out why LSE was showing the closing share price as 15p for the last two days and why it is 13.5p tonight. The actual spread on share price changed from 14p/14.5p to 12p/15p just after the markets closed...13.5p is the mid point of the later spread. Strange that the bid/ask don't get updated though. The actual close price today is 14.25p as reported on ADVFN....MM's clearly are hoping to catch a few sellers panicking about the market collapse with a 12p bid. Should open 14p/14.5p tommorrow though.

Yesterday we closed at 13.75p and today we are showing as +0.50p rise i.e to 14.25p which is what ADVFN is reporting and yet once again the math on LSE don't add up as they are reporting a 15p close price.

Yes it is quiet over here...away from the craziness of JJB board :-) ...I see this as a little secret club....5M shares bought imagine the noise over on JJB if they had had a similar result. Yet on here its very quiet....its under the radar. You thinking of joining the club? putting a toe in?..don't tell though :-)

What a contrast.... 5.1M shares bought thats over 5% of the company. Nobody comments on this board....... under the radar....how lucky was the timing of my buy? We will get and RNS triggered as even if this is a new buyer the 3% threshold will be breached....more to come. GLA.

Strange why LSE has reported thi for the last two nights and yet 13.75p quoted elsewhere and even LSE compares tonights close aginst 13.75p...glitch somehwere.

"new entrants to the market will be keen to accelerate the installation of smart meters so that their customers can take advantage of the energy efficiencies that D3 - Demand Management, Demand Response and Distributed Generation - can bring in helping to reduce their bills as soon as possible" - In my mind this is the reason for buying this share...it gives the smaller players a competitive edge and reason to talk to customers and is a vehicle to help them fulfill their growth ambitions. Wow! What an experience....don't think I can take much more of a roller coaster ride opens at 13.75 stays there all day..no point in an end of day auction becuase of the sheer lack of interest on the order books and we close at 13.75.

Been quite a wait since the fall.....Wonder why? 1) They think its poor value, 2) T/O talks in progress...

After all, the company yesterday announced that revenues for the year ending 31 March had more than doubled to £29m while an adjusted pre-tax loss of nearly £500,000 in the preceding year had morphed into a healthy £3.8m profit. The issue is that this profit is likely to be a high point, at least for the next couple of years. Bglobal provides smart energy meters. These are a good idea – they make the sporadic, and sometimes inaccurate, meter readings that consumers are used to a thing of the past. Naturally, since being presented with such a no-brainer, the Government has been dragging its feet. A nationwide roll-out is now targeted for 2014 but analysts fear more delays. Which means energy providers have put their own plans on hold, making life difficult for Bglobal. Happily, with efforts to bring new entrants into the energy market, there is an opportunity for the company to jump in and offer services such as billing, data collection, and the like. It has already helped Co-op into the market and others could follow. Backing the shares now is risky, but they're cheap and the company is financially strong, with £4m in net cash at the bank. One for investors willing to speculate.

I think the s.p has bottomed as aresult of this news. It could drop further if competitors start muscling in on their territory but they have got a good headstart on the compeition. I am not planning on holdng until 2014 for a recovery to 50 p though, I am hoping for a much faster move north. GLA.
