ZEN is still a better shot then some others here. I just had a look at CERP and somebody has characterised it as a 'progressive' company . Look at UKOG - is it in fantasy land or what? But then thats not saying much

everybody has their own circumstances to consider

as a trader in shares, if you buy a car outright you are locking up significant amounts of capital (£10-£25k) for a number of years. Its something to consider.

On the other hand if trading shares leads to bankruptcy then some equity in a car isn't a bad idea

indeed sarge they cant really rent this rig just to deepen c37. It already sounds like it isn't truck-mounted because mention of 180 has disappeared. A proper work programme needs to be developed. Thats the optimistic scenario

we need some news. Not interested in BD260 right now . The immediate story should be whats happening with the rental rig? Does AC practice smoke and mirrors ?

where is the 2 million buy? Nobody is really 'in the know' right now, unless there is a takeover. But even then, they have to wait on the results of drilling which hast happened yet

AC is sounding more coherent and managerial, with a good story to sell ( loss ,struggle, failure then eventual redemption). People are optimistic, speculative.....

Yeah interview was great. AC has greatly improved his communication skills. Thats good to see

I am confused at the rig inventory:

- Unspecced rig rented for 2 months to start work as a temporary measure for BD260. That must mean its bigger than the 180 tonne rig previously mentioned
- the BD 260 operation in March
- BQ 500 next 6 months I guess
- that truck mounted rig (the red one)

In-fact after last years presentation the SP went on a downward slide right after. And it was at the heady heights of around 8.2 p

Regarding wells clogging up there is no real solution except modern ESP pumps with their operation controlled by inlet pressure. I seem to remember discussing this at length on this board in the distant past

I wonder why SOCAR drilled this well to the same depth as C22 etc. They seem to be going for a marginal increase in production - so they got 150 bopd out of it and considered it worthwhile. A distinct lack of curiosity

Hopefully with ZEN probing the deeper geological zones, the sanding problem will be eliminated and we eventually hit teh black gold
