You can exercise whenever they are allowed to. You clearly should care as your reading it as a positive signal related to performance in the present. There's no evidence for this. If it is related to performance in the past, read the reports and you don't need to guess.

I intentionally chose HICL and INPP and did not choose renewable REITS. Why should I have to give TRIG shareholders an escape at an inflated price and bail out the managers?

Because you don't even have the top ten shareholders backing it; in fact, you have many of them explicitly coming out against it. The swell of opposition is now sufficient to dump this deal.

Agreed, we do not have the details, but that no immediate restriction is likely is a boot-lick. The EU and the US will have done this 3-4 years before us, saving many jobs. The government is shooting itself in the foot here, stupid.

What baffles me is how there is no cap planned at all. I'd be for it, if above a certain number, you are only entitled to it if you are in work.

This is another policy that, while it benefits everyone, benefits foreign-born citizens, who have larger families on lower incomes.

It's going in the bin, this merger. What an embarrassment for those involved. The longer they drag this on the worse it will get for them.
