Ll, yeah, everyone forgets with card that it's the dividend policy that has led to the low valuation. 60-75% of earning should get paid out, instead management payout 30%. That will support the price.

As for the performance, it was strange given the positive performance in H1, so a big part of this is general economic angst imo.

Topping up is wise when you are very likely to be getting 10% plus payout in the years ahead. I've re-entered here.

After all is done, the company still makes a profit. I can't say I looked at card and thought it was valued fairly. Even on the update today, it trades on a pe of 5.

The fact is that yield should always have been nearly doubled what it is here, and the management just went around buying things. If they'd prioritised a dividend, this stays above a £1 easily even on today's update.

Imo, for all those involved, they have to go. I left when it became clear they were not going to do this in the short-term

Agreed, Trotsky. The online performance last year was great. I can't see why there is anything to worry about. The market isn't going completely online and even what does isn't going overnight. That narrative was for the last decade. The real threat is AI robots choosing and delivering the tiles for us... That's sarcasm. Not going to happen.

I don't know enough about the market, but if there is a trend of customers going through the trade, then I can see a lot less leakage in demand than might be expected. Also, you only need to capture say 20% of total revenues of around 15m for this to make sense. It just enhances the leverage.

I see the Edison note, paid for, forecasts a 7% yield on a price 45p. Basically, a few of us have bought this at such levels that from next year we'll be getting double-digit payouts on our purchase prices.

Any strength in the housing market and this flies imo. Multibagger.

I wouldn't try to guess these people's thinking. They're large organisations, and it's not alien to be on both sides of the trade.

After Kingfisher announced below l4l for the same period as us at the end of the year, they pop. We pop before and announce good growth in a period everyone knows was depressed by the budget atmosphere and we drop.

What's more, there's basically 5m of extra profit coming in from CTD, which has continued l4l growth and the best part of 15m of extra sales from consolidation from FE. Given there are no stores and a successful integration of a similar business in the last 12 months, it's difficult to see profit not being ahead of this year's, but that's markets. Wasn't selling yesterday so no matter.

You know as well as me that's not a serious comment. So, you expect this to be paying a forward-yield of about 12%?

Let's hope so because I'd love to buy that.

Yeah, 15m of revenue and claimed 2.5m of stock for 3m. They are confident that the larger integration of CTD will be profitable so seems like a winner.
