The results use "underpinning" and "underpinned" in relation to performance of the business.

I see the £1M buyback as their estimation of what it takes to "undrrpin" the share price.

I doubt the building works analogy is accidental and is intended to "stabilise" the business and now the share price will get attention starting with this buyback.

Patience has been tested but I think will be rewarded. Still a good entry point for some having insufficient exposure.

Tender offer doesn' always help put a floor under the price unlessr you buy back shed loads, which they won't. After £1M price will just fall back.

In market purchase most likely imho. Put floor in with a buy up to price just in case price does take-off.

If enough want go hold, H2 results even better, then £1M demand could do more good than expected.

Measure is share price value of future recurring revenues. Hall said the market wasn't valuing that appropriately. MMX must have a model and a buy up to price.

Buyback is an "initial" operation as the discrepancy between market cap and value is so high. Any management with fiduciary duty has to prioritise in best interest.

Just have to wait, still longer, until sentiment moves.

Look at the uptick today so far on what LSE suggests are few buys.

£1M will move the price as it's undervalued now with legacy issues cleared and could have the extra benefit of removing some moaners who can't see the wood for the trees.

Share buyback is a return of capital and total shareholder yield higher than dividend if market capitalisation is under fair value, also helps improve future metrics.

Starting at 2% dividend yield, highly unlikely.
More like < 1% and made progressive.

1) Buyback - get started now to mop-up jaded holders at low price relative to value. Dandee, get the hint.

2) Hold back on good news until buyback done to avoid price appreciation.

3) After buyback, consolidate to improve headline metrics (eps etc) and gain wider exposure.

4) Divi last. Buyback at these levels is a BETTER SHAREHOLDER YIELD. Shareholder yield matters most. Even more so if they expect some growth area of business to kick-in. It shouldn't be x-growth.

They have a massive amount of flexibility open to them in terms of where they take this business now. If an innovation initiative or 2 take-off it will add real spice.

Carefully allocated cash to a couple more ideas will increase the probability of hitting a real winner in terms of a new offering or service. Careful being the word. Luxe is already more than paying it's way, there should be other ideas available in this market space.

No. No rush for the door, doldrums.
Let results do their job and it should appreciate with volume to the upside.
It's just one of those crappy times of the year with light volume having an over sized impact. It will pass.

Mgmt job is value creation.
If the sp discount to value is large ask why.
Blaming mgmt because they don't "entertain" the market is too simplistic.
Good results will do the job.

Totally agree about executive ownership and it is an appropriate time for a thouprough update on state of play and progress.

Timing may be off as I can see good reason for wider market disruption ahead. Good news can get lost in a wider downturn. Make hay now.

Hope they get the timing right for any release for maximal impact, avoiding the summer doldrums.
