Thought is a good thing as this mine is loss-making so what's the point of it keep going and Rio got to maintain it and eating into Rio's profit. What you guys say? Business is to look into profitable investments and if Rio got to diversify or cut costs to improve Profit/Loss is a good thing isn't it?

Hope Rio keep going. Although today not as much as good old AAL - amazing rise - anyone knows why? Is it due to good info? Unfortunately sold 1K shares last week. Only very small change left in hand for AAL - might be risky one though. Will keep Rio till 3600. Hope it will be in Q1 2013.

I have gone to John Lewis to look at the Mulberry collections. Inside some have labels printed in gold 'Mulberry'. Some bag styles have a tree logo next to 'Mulberry' and label attached a metal coin like tag which has serial numbers on reverse side. Couple bag styles only have 'Mulberry' printed without the tree logo and some don't have the metal coin attachment. Nothing stated where they are made. Sp perhaps they don't state 'Made in....' anymore. I had a Mulberry bought more than 10 years ago label did state 'Made in England' and attached to the coin like metal piece. Need this share to rebound strongly before I can afford another of these luxuries. Only have 340+ shares and nearly £2K down. Do you think the SP will go back to it's glory days??

Thanks to those who support and agree that if Mulberry is to retain the exclusiveness and elite status it has to have labels 'Made in England' unless their marketing strategy is to for mass market. Then mass produce it will be cheap and prices lower not higher over time and long run the exclusive status will slower evaporate.. Just like Rolex - don't see them made in China or elsewhere. Let's me tell you mainland Chinese are very good copycats and if exclusive brands companies let them I won't be surprise you'll soon see them come up with same stuff, maybe a different label name and at huge cut prices. We have to also learn what happen to US economy - for the last 15 years or more almost everything is made in China and what is happening now to US economy? Hope Mulberry and other reputed Uk companies are reading this. Cheers

Thanks for info. Bigmac. So is correct that some are still made in China and have a black tag inside to say so. Chandley-1976 and some of the rest is right. Especially the Chinese and most buyers in the East are very particular about branding and buy for the name basically and where things are made. People buy and wear luxury goods is a show of status and unfortunately is psychological buying influence. Yes there's news last year that more to be made in Swindon but can't deny some still elsewhere like China - is my facts not correct and you said so too?? Thanks

Just read yours and some others' posts. Shock to learn that. Whoever wants to pay several hundred to near a £1K or more for luxury items with Made in China is a joke. I agree with some of the posts here. So MULBERRY TAKE OUR ADVICE: IF YOU WANT TO RECOVER MAKE YOUR GOODS IN UK NOT CHINA OR SOME POORLY 'REGARDED' COUNTRIES EVEN QUALITY MAYBE AS GOOD. LOUIS VUITTON NEVER MAKE THEIR BAGS IN THESE COUNTRIES AND THEY HELD THEIR PRICES AND CAN AFFORD TO RAISE PRICES AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR!! Are Mulberry bags made in Taiwan?? Are you sure?? Thought they are made here - UK. Waiting to make profits to buy one. I have over 300 shares here so you sure now 250 they issue 20%. Can that be used in airports - if so will be savings on VAT plus this 20%. Although only have over 300 shares I'm down by nearly £2K as bought when these went drop months ago on reports. There must be many others losing huge if their entry SP was near Mul's highs. Tempting to buy more of these shares at these prices - do you think will be uptrend or down...lol Cheers all.

Well done to those still holding this baby especially those bought today. Will open at high sp in the morning. Nasdaq Gold (RRS USA) ended at US$114.35 with rise of US$3.74 wow!! Quite depressed looking at sp last couple of days and so tempted to sell some. Good job I didn't. Enjoy your gains and if you can't think of how to spend it I can gladly help. Cheers

If issuing share rights at £1.22 after issuing rights SP is around £1.75. If you don't wish to lose money SP got to be around £1.75.
