I was probably "that investor" myself a few years back...

but spending any length of time invested in ANY company, you eventually get to know how they operate:

ANGS has sold its investors so many jam tomorrow promises and so far delivered 0% success. After failure, delay, disaster and downright dishonesty, are you still trying to tell me that we can expect anything to change here... especially when they are unwilling to oust Tideswell who is culpable for ALL of the above.

If it sounds, smells, looks and feels like a scam... and the perpetrator has already been caught red-handed multiple times in the past... the law of averages should tell you that it's probably... yet another scam! IMHO ;-)

You already told us earlier that Lucan favoured gas production to oil. I expect that's because he has no faith in Balcombe EVER coming good. Clearly Cuadrilla don't and they won't be looking forward to the bad press all over again. They have hardly been in a rush to pursue it... I wonder why... Doh!

As for Saltfleetby "the £1 miracle pennies from heaven company saviour" ... GIVE US A BREAK. You must be the only person who believes that nonsense!

+ once Lidsey is uneconomic to continue running... there will be the abandonment costs to factor in here too...

1.30 yesterday to sell on Hargreaves Lansdown... went up to 1.40 to sell at close. Today started and still riding at 1.25 to sell

LOL! My comment was in reply to all the ramping nonsense yesterday.

Personally I take a longer view and rarely day trade unless I discover a stock which is too good to be true and has healthy financials such as BUR.

Trading ANGS is far too risky for my appetite. I'm only here because I am so far underwater that there's no point selling.

I also take issue with your earlier comment: "you have to learn to invest when companies are oversold. basic investing buy low sell high.... and then have a little patience"

Problem is... taking ANGS as a perfect example... there have been points all along the journey when the company was "oversold" - well... until they reported the next disaster!

Sadly... "history has a habit of repeating itself" (especially true where this company is concerned). Certainly no guarantees that we are at the bottom here and in oversold territory given their past record.

These ANGS mini spikes are going to have to be re-named "macro" spikes in future... they barely last a day!

I agree 100%! If this company is serious about drawing a line under the past... Tideswell NEEDS TO GO... otherwise investor and market trust will remain tainted IMHO.

Getting ahead of yourself a bit aren't you Toreaguas... and certainly light years ahead of our BOD... as most of the "significant" SP value creating points on your list are WELL into 2020.

Other than my investment in ANGS, I've nothing whatsoever to be sad about. I'm neither an optimist, nor a pessimist Torreaguas... just a realist. If this SP EVER reaches such heady heights as you assume, then I will be even happier... make back "some" of my losses and sell out at the first opportunity... but your prediction sounds like it comes from La La land to me.

Sigh... Clearly ANGS already have their eyes on another project. They've already dropped enough hints! The problem is: the assets they currently own are nowhere near delivering any shareholder value (even if they are proven to be successful over time) therefore I would say the purchase of yet another jam tomorrow asset is already a given.

By the way, the BOD's declaration at the meeting that the OGA do not need to ring-fence the money from Saltfleetby is not really their gift to give... as this decision will only be taken - in the fullness of time - once the application is made by the OGA... NOT ANGS bod.

In the meantime what they do need is to rope in some new PI's and their life savings in order to keep the SP afloat... hence the sales pitch to the uninitiated, the naive, and of course the ever faithful!

I see the mini-spike has already deflated :-(

I sincerely hope all 'eventually" comes good for you here - as you certainly deserve something for your unwavering faith in ANGS management.

Are they sure they are looking forward to meeting "existing" shareholders!?!? And as for "prospective investors" - who in the right mind would want to invest here unless they were already forcibly trapped!?!?!

JPT can buy all the shares he wants to - preferably after he has repaid his loan though... and better still as an "outside" investor unconnected with ANGS!

If ANGS are at all serious about drawing a line in the sand (in order to put all the deceit, disaster & double-dealing behind them) then they need to GET RID of Tideswell! Whilst ever he remains he will continue to be a thorn in this company's side and investors and the wider market will remain wary!

The fact that he is still on the payroll and still pulling strings undermines whatever fresh plans Lucan may have... because anyone with half a brain knows that whilst Tideswell's still there - there is a 100% chance he will scr*w everything up yet again as he has done at every turn in the past!

So long as Tideswell is still pulling the strings at ANGS, "EVERYTHING" is a waste of time in the eyes of investors and The Market. Get that liability off the payroll FOR GOOD and we might start to believe something / anything has actually changed here...

The longer he stays... the longer it will take for this company and any of its future plans to be taken seriously! IMHO

If ANGS are confident of "anything" and especially of meeting one of their own deadlines... we might need to break out the champagne...because it will be a very very very big FIRST for them!

It is easy to see "your" agenda here too. I look forward to telling you "I told you so" when news of the next placing arrives and the SP dips below 1p!"

Obviously none of us here (unless we have inside knowledge) know for certain what the OGA will request, but I would argue that they may sensibly consider the following:

1) ANGS is a small AIM listed company with no current income
2) ANGS have a long history of failure
3) ANGS have historically had poor relations with planning authorities and suffered disputes with regulators
4) ANGS currently still employ Tideswell (the cause of 99% of this company's misery) and who is himself in breach of AIM rules due to dodgy share trading

... before deciding that it would be imperative to have legally binding undertakings from this BOD to ensure full compliance.

And if I'm thinking this "as a mere investor" I would argue that it will not have escaped the attention of the men in grey suits who will make the final decision for the OGA.
