The SP "always" drops close to anticipated news... then spikes briefly... then drops back again.

The only way out of this time-loop is when and IF Newcrest finally get their checkbook out. Until then we'll all just continue on the merry-go-round.

Buyers too. 1 trade so far today! Just about sums up enthusiasm and faith in this company :-(

Different company and different business, but I experienced a similar roller coaster ride holding IMG (Imagination Technology) before their buy-out.

Same state of play leading up to the buy-out... SP depressed, volatile movements on good v bad news. Even after the bid came in... The Market still discounted the SP and various folk turned up on the BB telling us that the deal would probably fall through due to a variety of unknowns...

Fast forward and the deal was done - at a big premium - delivered as promised.

Whilst I appreciate: the end result here "could" be a different one... the lesson I learned there was: sit tight - ignore the naysayers - and wait for the outcome.

The SP is where it is because of systematic management failure to deliver on ANYTHING so far. BB negativity is a normal response to that repeated failure. Trying to perpetuate the fairy-tale promise of jam tomorrow to hook in new unwary investors just won't cut it anymore.

Toxic Tidswell has drained every last drop of market credibility from ANGS and yet continues to cling on.

It is up to "management" to start to rebuild trust among investors... only then will sentiment turn positive.

HH was only a success after the UKOG team took over (as I'm sure you must be aware). I wonder what Tidswell's excuse was for selling out on the only asset so far to have proved to be of any real value?

Balcombe has so far proved to have a water issue - ring any bells!?!? Although our trusty BOD tell us this can be fixed... it doesn't explain why this "so called" great opportunity has been put to one side and left unattended for so long? My guess is that they probably need UKOG to come in and show them what to do first! ;-)

So what "was" the NPV calc for Lidsey... what "was" the NPV calc for Brockham... what "was" the NPV calc for Balcombe (first time around)?

The sad truth is that on each past occasion so called FACT rapidly sank into FICTION. Can we trust the folk who have so far failed each and every time to bring us even ONE success - to deliver eventually at Saltfleetby?

Well we're all going to have to wait well into 2020 to find out... but given their 100% failure record so far... don't hold your breath IMHO :-(

An awful lot of high net-worth investors have "already" lost money here... the size of your trading pot only means that you could potentially lose more... his purchase is not a beacon of hope... just as the current SP low may not be the bottom. Having averaged down myself in the past (at what was considered to be the bottom and a "great entry price" by all and sundry at the time...) I know this all too well from bitter past experience!

Bearing in mind the duplicitous nature of Tidswell and his chums, I would not be surprised if this new "associate" investor of theirs didn't loan out his shares too. He could well be looking to make money on the down-side as well as the up.

The only "fact" you can be assured about here is that WE will be the last to know the truth!

Are you certain you are not a paid mouthpiece for the BOD... you do seem to go out of your way to defend them considering (as you claim) you have only been invested here late in the day!

So in essence:

Tidswell threw his toys out of the pram when Vonk caught him blatantly dodgy dealing. He has damaged investor holdings, and shattered the company's reputation just to get even.

He appointed Lucan and the other muppets are still in place... same old... same old untrustworthy ANGS... going nowhere but further down, until we see some "genuine" change!

Regardless of winners and losers between PV and JTP, If JTP continues to be involved here "ALL" investors will lose out! He has already cost LTH's dearly and - after repeated failure and double dealing - The Market no longer trust him.

ANGS will continue to viewed with the scepticism it deserves until there is "genuine" change. The SP will not recover unless and until he's gone IMHO... and as a shareholder... I would like him to take responsibility for his actions (at long last) and do the honorable thing. The sooner - the better for everyone!

You, I, Investors old & new and the wider market all know that whilst Tidswell is still pulling strings... catastrophe is lurking just around the next corner... After so many costly failures surely even you cannot see a future here whilst Toxic Tidswell is still drawing a salary?

We have no choice but to look forward here, it just remains for us to see if this "new" management are any different to the old. If Tideswell acknowledges his utter and complete past failure and does the honorable thing and resigns... then we will have our answer and can be optimistic for the future... if he continues to linger... then it will just be more jam tomorrow & a future of failed promises no different to before.

Time for ANGS to decide if they are serious about change!

I think this year's problems can mostly be attributed to the spectacular failure at Brockham.

If management had succeeded there... Tidswell's coup would have been nothing but a sideshow as we would be at a much healthier company valuation and higher SP.

We are where we are... but - since we've got such a long wait ahead of us now and infinitely more risk attached as the can has been kicked way down the road - I hardly see us being in a better situation today.

This is AIM after all... and we all know what AIM does to companies that fail to deliver and Keep changing their own goal posts.

Sadly... here, we can only speculate what "management" want and hope that they are listening at long last to reasoned argument!

As a previous employer and MD myself, I do wonder "these days" what it takes for an individual who repeatedly fails... to finally acknowledge they are a liability rather than an asset and leave without needing to be pushed?

As "a major shareholder" I would anticipate that Tidswell's aspirations would be aligned with shareholders - in that he wants the SP to recover and the company to be trusted & taken seriously by Investors and The Market (again) In which case he should RESIGN and leave OTHERS - freed from the shackles of his appalling public record of devious actions and disastrous decisions - to get on with that job ASAP.

I think we can ALL draw a line in the past - even hardliner LTH's like me are willing to average down at some point when I feel that there are genuine opportunities to make back losses here.

I set three ground rules: management buy in... Tidswell loan pay back... Tidswell resignation. My forth was for ANGS to report at least ONE success... but I agreed to remove this condition.
The first of the three have already been completed and I also credit management for opening a question and answer section on the website and offering more transparency as a result. I have absolutely no doubt that Tidswell will be pulling strings even from the outside as a large shareholder (and I have no issue with that) but I think in order to restore market confidence... his long outstanding loan needs repaying and he needs to resign.

Then... and only then... do we move forward TOGETHER :-)

I hope ANGS answer as many questions as they are able... as there are some very pertinent questions posed there now. Will be interesting to see how they respond and if they do so openly and honestly, then I think they will start to improve sentiment and begin to rebuild investor trust.

I "sincerely" hope they listen and "genuinely" learn from their past mistakes. If they choose to ignore and try to carry on as before... then we all might as well write off our investment right now.
