With zero liquidity, no near term news and RiverFort selling off into any rise... I doubt we'll see much SP upward movement before February next year at the earliest :-(

I think The market are probably waiting for ANGS to "turn the taps on" for real this time... and in the meantime what happens if Balcombe planning is either delayed or worse still planners choose not to support the application?

I guess The market will also be factoring in these possibilities too.

We'll all just have to do what Angus management seem to do most of the time: sit tight and pray!

LOL. Where money & gambling are concerned many people seem to get easily offended. There is always a danger on BB's that folk only want to hear positive news and therefore try to shut down debate as quickly as possible when others chime in with - as you called it: "an unattractive thought".

IMHO debate is "always" good. Safer to listen to both sides of any argument and come to your own judgement. I personally have no issue whatsoever with anyone's opinion here - positive or negative - and always welcome a healthy factual debate.

Your charitable offer is a generous one too. Let's see where we land here. Fingers crossed for a great outcome for all concerned.

"The market" is as clueless as the rest of us. Same story with SKY before their buyout... valued ludicrously cheaply by the same Market until the bids arrived. IMG too... way undervalued by The Market... until the bid came in. The Market does nothing more than follow the breadcrumb trail and prices accordingly as each new offer arrives - either officially or via leaks.

I predict a buy-out around 30p (In the meantime, I'm happy to let The market play catch-up when official news breaks or is leaked).

I may be attributing more strategic intelligence to management than they deserve. Whilst I appreciate this would be a stretch too far for Tidswell, Lucan was brought in to help the poor boy out with future planning after all...

Clearly (from current market appetite) Angus do not have a convincing story just yet... but given the long lead time... placings via death spiral finance... and a crashed SP, "IF" Saltfleetby did eventually turn out to be as good as Lucan suggests... it may be easier and a whole lot cheaper for a management buy-out by late 2020 around the time it might outwardly appear that all is lost to everyone - except for management and other potential private investors in the know!

Okay. Perhaps a discussion for another year...

I'm not suggesting this would happen imminently. Firstly they would need to build a more significant stake, and secondly they would need to be free of RiverFort (as you say).

But looking ahead... with Lucan's city contacts... I would assume raising money through private investment might be less of an issue...

As I say: just a hypothesis.

I still wonder if the BOD are secretly plotting to take ANGS private - despite their denials?

By comparison I have followed another company DFX - where a large shareholder has been allowed to build up a significant stake whilst the SP has crashed - and is now able to out-vote others and take the company private for a bargain basement price.

Here at Angs we have Rupert building a stake and Tidswell already with a large stake. If those numbers continue to grow... I think we might have a strong hint about the "true" focus of management here... it would partly explain their apparent complacency with the current all time low SP.

I've answered this question before. It's really very simple:

A) I am so far underwater that selling now would be of no material benefit.
B) My continued holding gives me personal justification to vent my frustration with the abject failure & serial incompetence of Angus management.

The MM's naked short (known and accepted practice and fact) The MM's often collude with "others" and also have knowledge of certain "entities" in the market looking to divest themselves of large holdings... and they enable this to happen when supply v demand would not usually allow.

In the years ahead we will look back on these practices - like we looked back on former dodgy banking practices - and there will be penalties and fines to pay for many many years thereafter... but for now... we have to live with a broken - unfit for purpose - system until someone far more important than you or I gets their fingers seriously burnt and FINALLY calls foul play!

In answer to your questions:

Yes I am still "sadly" a remaining shareholder & Yes I do expect this SP to go lower for the following very good reasons:

A) We currently have no income and a long lead-time ahead of us before any production revenue will appear (if it ever does!) Therefore just as we are emerging from the long dark tunnel of death spiral finance number one... guess who will undoubtedly be waiting for us on the other side? (IMHO around Q1 2020) None other than RiverFort - again!

B) Lucan has already dropped a few almighty hints that he is looking into purchasing another asset... with what precisely? Unless he revisits Pound Land... I expect money will be needed for that.

C) Angus's past is littered with disaster and delay... and since Tidswell still has his fingers in the pie... it would be prudent to expect more of the same - which will inevitably impact on the SP.

D) The Market and investors (old & new) have little appetite for these shares right now and for good reason! (low volumes - even the traders have abandoned ship) Which means that "some" larger net worth investors might be looking to loan shares in the hope of causing temporary downward pressure to extract a profit by shorting.

Just look what has happened to UKOG's SP (with the MM's full blessing) and now picture ourselves... a good twelve months behind!

By the way... before anyone tells me you cannot short ANGS and there's no collusion with MM's... "Get over it... because it happens all the time for it to be just a remarkable coincidence."

TBH with the ANGS SP where it is currently... it pretty much feels like we have 6bn shares in issue. At this current moment in time I would suggest that UKOG has far greater near term upside SP potential than we do. UKOG already have income and proven assets which they are adding to... whereas ANGS are just offering us higher risk jam tomorrow and in all likelihood: further placings to boost the existing share numbers.

I would also point out that UKOG have already been on the death spiral funding route... but at least there's light at the end of their long tunnel... whereas we are only just about to enter... for the loooooooooooooooooong ride down. :-(
