So glad we have the likes of JO, Ice, Wiggly, Dragon, Pete etc etc. My hats off to all of you. I just don't have the energy anymore to reply to the complete nonsense posted on here by some individuals who clearly have an agenda. For all newbies take a look at some of the posts from those listed above and also by Denzil in the last few days. It will help to put your mind at ease.

MarcusMontana, please check Denzil and Vulcaniglis' posts yesterday. They've explained what the temporary waivers statement mean. It's with respect to the possible underpayment of interest charges in previous years where the review has identified accounting irregularities.

'Temporary retrospective waivers (valid to 30 April 2025) have been obtained under committed debt facilities for historical non-compliance with prior period financial covenants.'

This has been covered before by other posters but it relates to waivers obtained for previous years where interest on debt was underpaid. Likely 2022 and/or 2023. No big deal.

I'd rather read what they have to say and then be able to report them for making false/misleading comments that would otherwise influence weaker hands.

Even if the suspension occurs it just means WG shares cannot be traded until the suspension is lifted and then it's BAU. Hardly the doomsday scenario you are making it out to be.

Tedmak, what you've failed to state is that the weaknesses and failures in the Group's financial culture that WG have identified are historic. These previous failures won't affect the groups future ability to generate cash this either in 2025 or in the future.

Pedro, I've been reading your comments all day and you sound like an annoying, broken record.

There is a very, very long way to go before any of the the doomsday scenarios you've painted as being imminent take place. It's probable the SP gets suspended until the full year accounts are ready to be published but this is a technicality based upon FCA rules.

You claim to be helping PIs but it's obvious to pretty much everyone the only people you're trying to benefit.

As has been pointed out repeatedly the RNS today merely confirmed what was suspected in November and in essence nothing has changed from a few weeks ago apart from the SP faling due to the suspension and the uncertainty caused by it.

This will turn around soon either through a firm offer from Sidara or positive results in the next 12 months.

I'd happily wait 12-18 months for the SP to get back to the £2 mark rather than accept an 80p bid from Sidara.

Nothing to apologise for 🥕. LTHs who have researched this company know that in the medium term WG will come good. Just a matter of time thats all. A little patience required.

Don't know what website you're using but on shorttracker at the COP the total WG short interest on the 27th March was 5.21% and at the COP on the 28th it was 5.16%.

The important thing is MW is slowly reducing.
