Poker, the first mention of Sidara was weeks after the Feb 14th RNS so not sure where you're getting that from.

Poker, you make it sound like they're some kind of good samaritans trying to help WG out of a sticky situation.

Let's see what the next few weeks/months bring. As someone else posted earlier there may be a few more twists and turns yet.

🥕, the accounts can't be that bad if Sidara have all but completed their DD and they're still willing to make a 35p offer and invest another guaranteed 450m in to the business post acquisition.

Sadly, as much as I'd love to believe Ice I'm inclined to agree with 🥕 and Capt. I dont for a second believe the IIs are happy about the 35p offer but they've probably reluctantly accepted it as the best of the worst options on offer.

Hoping Apollo or somebody else makes a better offer but unlikely. In the next few days I can see the SP dropping to about 13/15p. If it does I'll be buying more to average down and if a 35p offer is made, I'll have made a modest profit and I'll be happy to move on.

It's not that complicated. Its because the suspension is a certainty now and neither IIs nor PIs wish to hold through a suspension and all the uncertainty that that brings.

It's still around 4.5%. It's just that Cubist have reduced to 0.48% and gone below the reporting threshold.

I think the Sidara deal will go through. I cant see them lowering the price either as the RNS stated their DD had been virtually completed. If nothing as expected is announced before the suspension on the 30th then I can see the SP sliding in to the mid teens I'm afraid. If it does I'll be adding more to reduce my average.

The board recommending 35p suggests finances are perilous but what i can't get my head around is how we went from a projection of being cash flow positive in 2024 Q4 as late as last November to the cesspit we now find ourselves in?

The ineptitude of this CEO and the board is truly shocking. These people should never be allowed at boardroom level again.

The FY24 results will be published within a couple of months of the suspension.

Bob, what's the general consensus regarding the Sidara sale? Do people believe it will go ahead at 35p?

Sadly, it's likely to get worse prior to the suspension. Very sad to see what's going on.

Pete640, perhaps I wasn't clear. I mean Sidara will make a bid once their conditions have been fulfilled. This is unlikely to be before the suspension takes place on the 30th unless they waive their demands for the conditions to be fulfilled.

My best guess we'll see the lowest lows around or on the 30th.

If we don't get a bid from Sidara before the 30th I can see us going down to about 16p sadly before suspension.

Still confident though Sidara will make a bid once they're conditions have been fulfilled.
