Or by listening to shorters and selling at a loss...
Very much my own sentiments PfcVetran. The RNS was poorly timed. It should have been released a month ago when the price was in the early 30s. I haven't been able to find information regarding the job cuts anywhere else and according to a source working at PFC the opposite seems to be happening. Time will tell.
I can understand why the RNS was disappointing to many today. It simply reaffirmed what was contained in the December update without revealing anything new of note. However, as our NI princess has repeatedly said patience is required here. There is nothing fundamentally broken at Petrofac. If there was they wouldn't have been awarded 8bn worth of contracts. Good luck to all LTHS!
"Petrofac continues to deliver well for our clients, evidenced by the growth in our backlog, on which very good progress is being made," said chief executive Tareq Kawash.
Hopefully more contract wins to be announced soon.
Last time the price reached this level we had a sustained uptick back up to 36p. Hopefully we'll see the same thing happening again in the next few days and weeks in the absence of any news.
Get back in your Ferrari Tony!
Lots of people forgetting the upbeat December update already. A little more patience required here. BoD are working on a solution to the short term financing problem. In the meantime legacy contracts are being wound up and more contracts are being bid for to add to the 8bn backlog already won. Hold your nerve. With every passing day we're getting closer to a solution.
Can't figure out whether Tony is trying to be funny or just incredibly odd. I'm hoping its the former.
Don't you have anything else to do on a weekend Tony?
Helicon reduced their short position by 0.30% yesterday. Good news.
Hold your nerve. Don't sell your shares for a loss. Nothing has changed from the last few weeks when the SP was steady at 28p. As has been said numerous times all we need is one positive RNS and this will fly!
Huge number of automated trades today.
Do please zip it Tony!
Getting frustrated/stressed about the support at 28p Tony?
Maybe it's you who needs to exit.
There are many other ways to solve the refinancing problem. Cineworld had debts of approximately $7bn. Apples and pears.
Emphasis on the "Ex COO, Ex Executive."
Agreed with the poster who remarked this kind of publicity doesn't do PFC any good but the outcome of the bribery case will have absolutely no bearing on whether PFC are awarded new contracts or otherwise in the coming few months/years.
Tony, if you don't have anything nice to say about anyone do please keep quiet.
Good job I didn't listen to your advice Wacki!
Looking absolutely fine so far today wacki.
