I would imagine some of the larger shareholders here have long run out of patience with the share price. The company have to deliver a big re-rate soon or history wont judge them kindly. Who are sniffing here.....Newmont, Rio Tinto, Agnico Eagle, Boliden, Teck, Glencore, First Quantum, Lundin Mining.

I cant wait to find out who is coming in.

Reading between the lines…Sounds to me from todays interview, like they may sell to the highest bidder rather than JV now. That would be the smart move and what shareholders want I expect

According to information submitted to TUKES by CGNR as part of the approval of the prospecting permit ML2019:0058

- Based on the ore exploration, the ground is very unusual in terms of deposits. further research was needed to determine the main source of the exceptional gold bearing deposits in the bedrock. Gold content abnormal and according to the plan submitted by CGNR over the last three years the gold content was to be determined by bedrock drilling, rock and soil sampling and trenching. The drilling was to be supervised by the GTK, or another party on behalf of the company. The drilling equipment was to be a drilling unit moving on tracksand an ATV trailer used for maintanence transport. Drill cores were to be transferred elsewhere for examination. Gold discovered 10.5 g/t and exceptional in the bedrock.

Remember CGNR also applied for an enforcement order for the prospecting license, so they were keen not to be delayed.

This is Karhuaapa in Sodankyla and is 794,91ha.

I think they spent 48,000 euros on the mag survey too.

I wonder if many CGNR shareholders are even aware of any of this.

The targets shown by the ground magnetic survey include two highly magnetic bodies, which are

considered to be IOCG targets, together with a series of targets which are interpreted as being Shear

Zone Hosted Gold targets.

The detailed high resolution ground magnetic survey consisted of 33 lines at 100m separation, ranging

from 1km to 3km in length, for a total of 49 line kilometres covering an area c.4.5 km2

.

Remember ......the KDR confidentiality agreement provided KDR (which means also provided CGNR -same geologists and management) with £50m worth of private data out of the ground in Finland from Rio Tinto. The tranches of confidential data which was made available to KDR was information for all minerals , not just diamonds. CGNR also got that data, but that never appeared to register with CGNR shareholders. Remember they spent 2 years studying the data before they started locking down the best ground. In my opinion CGNRs Finland ground is a big deal. I suspect we may find out why this year.

Remember this RNS from CGNR in March 2021. This was about having the targets drill ready. I suspect all the prep work done for Rio Tinto with none of the attention. Think about it.

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR), the gold exploration and development company

focused on Ireland and Finland, is pleased to announce the completion of a detailed high resolution

ground magnetic survey which has identified a series of drilling targets on its gold exploration acreage in

the Sodankylä area of Northern Finland. The Company holds a total of eight gold exploration licences in

Finland.

The high resolution ground magnetic survey data, in combination with multiple datasets, including

geochemistry, aerial photography, digital elevation data and airborne geophysical data, has delineated a

series of prospective drilling targets.

Previous geochemistry in the Company’s permit area in Sodankylä has been encouraging with gold-in-soil

values, of up to 4,470 Au ppb, and copper-in-soil values. Gold grains have also been observed in the till.

The presence of the Nattanen granite suite and extensive haematitic alteration together with regional and

local structural controls indicate Iron Oxide Copper Gold (“IOCG”) prospectivity.

I suspect CGNR Finland prospects are being held for another party, the same party that KDR are holding Liperi, Salla, Japilla for. There is a reason CGNR have not mentioned Finland in years. Remember the Rio Tinto confidentiality deal with KDR included gold, which confused many. This may all become clear soon.

I think Demir were interested intaking a look at Conroys base metals. Didnt they let that slip in a cgnr podcast last year if im not mistaken. By this I mean KDRs ground in Fermanagh. Perhaps this is what the prof meant by some of the Demir geologists coming back. Makes sense in my view. Perhaps this is the reason Demir were so content to do the exit deal with cgnr . Think about it.

Market cap should not be below £40/50m here and that’s very conservative. They know it and perhaps they are now fed up so they are doing a deal to fix that.

Clearly the market doesn’t believe he will do a deal with a major. The market is so wrong here it’s unbelievable. We know it’s coming

How is this market Capital only £4m. If prof announces a deal with Rio, or Newmont, Glencore, or Agnico Eagle etc. then the market cap can’t be 4m. We know prof has skill in getting very good deals so it is coming or he wouldn’t have told the market about the number of interested majors. Certainly expect this to move significantly when the name/s drop. Very exciting

Wouldn’t rule out some serious offers to take CGNR in its entirety either.

Yes some in Newfoundland, with market cap $700m and nowhere near as advanced as CGNR. May not even have a jorc resource.

CGNR market cap of 3-4m is unbelievable really…. Sure Demir just sunk £5-6m into CGNR. As soon as there is a sniff of the new majors name, the market will rectify this absurdity

If one of the top majors comes in, this will be fun to watch

The company have a massive deal in the pipeline and have 100% back. Today was too good of an opportunity to miss for me. As the prof said this morning, this is a big opportunity for capital gain for the company. As soon as word gets about of who is sniffing here, this could go on a proper run. GLA

Market Cap here is 3-4m. Didn't Demir just spend £6m on CGNR for a 2% NSR and capped at their total investment. This could not now be more obvious. Great move by the company. If you are negative on this, then you have blinkers on.

Lets not forget Agnico Eagle!!

We know Newmont have always been interested, but in it was thought previously that cgnr would have to wait in line for development until its turn. Perhaps things have changed, and CGNR have 100% now. wow

You can be sure the deal already sorted. Those who sold will kick themselves here.

That is a very clean break and just the NSR of 2%. Free to enter into a much bigger deal now. I bet no deal is announced until after the sister company KDR receive their mining permit at end of may/start of June. Why? Because every chance KDR also part of this deal with a major or partially.
