Those timescales are beyond depressing

It’s over 8.5 years since KDR acquired Lahtojoki.

It’s over 7 years since we were within 200m of the source of the green diamond.

Many shareholders took a leap of faith in Karelian but have had nothing but misery owning these shares over 20 years. Because of my admiration for the prof, i always wanted to see him get to a mine stage and succeed with his companies, as he was such an interesting person. Now, without him at the helm, all I want to see is those who believed in his vision be rewarded for their investment. I don't care now who takes KDR and CGNR to mining stages as long as the market capitals of each company reflects the true value of assets. You can be sure the profs vision was not £2m/£3m cap. proper value here can't be far away. IMO.

I hope the company is actively chasing this up with the Land Survey and its not been put at the bottom of the Land Survey to do list .

If these 3 minor compensatory matters were referred back to the Land Survey in August, what is the delay with the Land Survey? Surely it is not rocket science for them sort out. Tukes must be wondering whats taking land survey so long.

Agnico Eagle would make sense Diamondhunter. Thats my best guess but have no idea. Don't know how long before we hear what majors are interested.

On 13 August 2024, the company announced the following: With regards to the amount of compensation payable to the two landowners the majority of the items upon which they based their claims were rejected by the Finnish Land Court except for three items which were referred back to the National Land Survey to review.

On 18 October 2024, the company announced the following: The decision of the Land Court has now gained legal force. The Court also rejected the majority of items upon which the appellants based their claims for compensation and "referred three items back to the National Land Survey for review".

I'm confused, were these 3 items not already referred back to the Land Survey for review back on 13th August already. Obviously this is still delaying the Permit. Is it convenient for KDR to not receive the permit yet, or is that too cynical. If these 3 items are so minor, why are they holding up the permit?

No reason with news of heavy backing from a gold major that the share price for CGNR couldn’t be 20 times the current sp. No way this is a 2-3m cap company when you look at similar elsewhere.

I would be surprised if CGNR are not on Agnico Eagles radar. Don’t they own Fosterville and have a presence in Finland. Perhaps MM did due diligence for them rather than Barrick. Agnico look a very impressive outfit. We can only guess, but I would think they fit the mould perfectly for CGNR. You get the feeling some big companies interested here.

The geological team has initiated an intensive programme to re-log 30,000m+ of drill core, starting with the Clontibret target. The purpose of the programme is to:

 Extract more comprehensive and consistent information from the drill core

 Build a more robust geological model to assist in identifying the controls to higher grade mineralisation

 Carefully consider antimony mineralisation and controls to assess this element’s potential contribution to project economics at Clontibret

 This work by the geological team will inform choices for the next cycle of major investment in the “Discs” project, including in the context of partnerships

Maybe S Fitz will be the new chairman. He is very talented and successful and one of Irelands leading businessmen.

Would be a popular appointment.

Yes, very slick indeed. Impressive presentation. I notice Barrick Golds former head of exploration (Marian) appears to be the first name leading CGNR's project now. Its so obvious what is going on here.

Don't Agnico Eagle have Fosterville, and Fosterville recently did relogging. Kind of obvious to me, but what would I know.

This is worth watching. Remember Agnico Eagle are CGNRs neighbour in Finland. It wouldn't surprise me to see them interested in CGNR in addition to Barrick Gold.

As part of comprehensive due diligence the interested parties may carry out relogging of core and a review of the estimation methods employed. Sometimes this to to provide representative multi-element geochemistry. I suspect this will lead to a significantly revised JORC.

I believe relogging took place at Fosterville recently. This provided a bigger picture, to better define the structural and stratigraphic architecture of the gold trend before attempting to zero in on the sweet spots. It defines vectors to positions where otherwise insignificant structures have the potential to host mineralisation.

I would imagine one of the obvious outcomes for future drilling by a major will be that the drill holes were far too shallow at clontibret.....Big money is coming in next and from multiple majors in my view. Excitement will start to build shortly. The signs are there, even if the market cant yet see it.
