Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Nice to see 10p again but easy to forget that it is a very low price.
Looks like GGP and Bamps have got new running shoes on so looking forward to 2024 and beyond.
All the very best,

We had the shortest on December 22nd and looks like the shorters also have had their day!
Now looking forward to summer and the longest day.
2024 is looking good for Greatland.
All the best,
Yellowstuff
No rush like a gold rush!
One good thing is that Australian pension funds are keen investors in Australian mines.
Gold, copper, nickel etc. So all looking very good.

300,500 Yen for one ounce today !!!
GGP creeping up...
Lets hope for a decent move soon.
All the best,
Yellowstuff
Nice to see 11p here again but it is a very low price for GGP shares.
The future is looking brighter - and getting closer!
Gold price rising too which should help.
All the best,
Yellowstuff
Well - I bought EXTRA shares at 6.00 p recently and am now selling them.
Nothing wrong with taking some profits - and this was really EASY and nothing to boast about!
I still have shares I bought for 1.00 p (Boasting!!?)
Good to see this little move up - hope for more soon.
All the best.
Good point -'Newmont will in the meantime be shouldering the bulk of the costs of doing so'.
Make me happy to know that we are getting closer to the orebody everyday.
Can anyone give an idea of how much this work costs each month?
Thanks and all the best,
Yellowstuff
Thank you thedoors for getting us together today at a good venue.
Really look forward to the next one - looks like there is good news on the way.

Here is a very, very positive article.
It takes away any doubts that GGP is anything other than an excellent investment.
Makes for a welcome and uplifting reading.
Barna,
I forget or never knew how much money Newcrest are pumping into Telfer at the moment.
Can you tell me how much each month?
Thanks
I invested in GGP a very small 'Exploration' company years ago at under 1p and was lucky with the massive find at Havieron.
20p gave a life changing gain and I kept some shares, so was very happy.
Now I am invested in a mining/exploration company with very big ideas over a long time frame ,which is not really what I signed up for.
It will probably do very well over time.
I would rather be able to have the opportunity to sell now at a decent price for the work and risk to date.
Yes, we all have different positions and time lines and I wish GGP all the best - it is just not what I invested in.

Cheltenham Flyer,
Real news is not far away - my guess is that it will be very good!
(Big planes flying over Cheltenham - landing in Fairford)
Sellmethispen,
Thank you - agree on all points which were very well put.
Would just add that mining stocks are mostly down today and copper futures fell to below the $3.7 per pound mark in mid-May, the lowest in over five months as a batch of new economic data deepened the prevailing demand concerns from China.
(I did buy a few more GGP shares today)
All the best, explorers and junior mines are always tricky.
Part of the bigger picture is that despite everything happening at the moment an enormous amount of money is being spent every day/week/month to continue with the Havieron mine development - and not just for fun.
Whatever happens that for me as a GGP share holder that is a very good sign.
The drills keep drilling
The diggers keep digging
Accountants computers keep spinning
and bits of paper keep floating around
No worries
Newmont NEM +0.13% has agreed to buy Australian gold and copper miner Newcrest for $17.5 billion in what would be the largest ever gold-mining deal.
Starbright - and posts below.
Such good information in this exciting time. Thank you all.
The next few weeks will make things clearer - but they will still be complicated.
As a share holder I do hope for, and feel entitled, to know more of what is happening.
We investors really do require more information to increase our trust in the management.
If Newmont do buy Newcrest next week will we know how much they paid for Havieron?
That would be a big help for GGP share holders and potential share holders - as would a lot more up to date information about the mine and plans for its future.
Yes, there are still so many ways this can pan out
But -
My bet is that the company mining Havieron will be to sole owner.
Just my idea of how things work.
