Things become very interesting when there are no sellers.....
All nice and quiet at the moment - could be very different next week.
People will be here shopping and asking questions!
Have a good weekend.
20 million ounces,is a massive deal?
Is 'massive' the right word?
20,000,000.oz x $1000 an oz = $20,000,000,000 !!!
I am looking for the right word(s)

This is on the Kitco home page tonight.
Top 10 largest gold mines in Australia in Q3 2021 - report
Look forward to us being on this page after we have sat on our hands for a while.
Sitting on a gold mine will be much more comfortable..
Have a good weekend.
Timber Trader,
Last December the share price moved swiftly up to 37p on December 21st.
That is history...!
'Who knows what tomorrow will bring?'
Yup, sadly US looking grim today too.
Always good to have some gold, it can take the edge of things.
Last post should read Mr Day, sorry
Good that Mr Say now owns shares like the rest of us.
I have a feeling that he would like to have many more - and with everything that he knows would be happy to pay a much higher price for them.
Watch this space.
My take is that the more money Mr Day has in GGP the better it is for everyone.
It could well be that soon he will have to pay much more.

‘In my view this is not normal market action, but why?’
I fancy that this is ‘normal’ for shares in gold mines and exploration companies.
It has always been a very tricky area to invest.
If you didn’t know that when you first invested in gold mines – you will find out sooner or later.
That said the price can rise very quickly for no apparent reason as GGP did before a while ago.
Its the nature of gold mines!
Trying to help - and I do look very much look forward to the input from Magic, he is always very helpful.
Great stuff again from Mr Day, really encouraging.
I hope the time soon comes when Mr Day is able to become a large share holder, it will give the company a huge boost of confidence.
Maybe we could all relinquish a few.
I bought quite a few at 16p that he can have for 30p if it helps.

Gold anti trust action committee.
GATA has been going for years and well worth looking to see what they are up to.
All I know is that gold and gold shares are a very tricky area.
The prices can rise (or fall) very, very quickly.
That said I fancy GGP is a good place to be.
Zoros, I think you may well be right.
The questions is 'What do I do with £1,000,000?'
We will all have different answers.
So this is what Mr Day had to keep under his hat!
Don't know how he did it, though he did manage to give us a few hints.
Things have never looked better.
Very good tweet! And from MiningMaven,
'The CEO notes that the low cost and low capex, combined with low risk, will, in turn, drive free cash flow generation and “unlock the forward growth of Havieron”.
For those who haven’t yet invested in Greatland, the opportunity remains significant and this recent announcement is definitely worth considering. It is emblematic both of the potential on offer with Havieron, and for the company as a whole.'
Also good to see Newcrest share price on the rise again today.
Because everything about Greatland Gold is fantastic!
The drilling results and progress reports are fantastic.
The management team is fantastic.
The future is fantastic.
The continually low share price is fantastic.
I have a few shares with Metal Tiger and am always pleased to see things going well.
(mostly GGP!)
Have a good day, the future is looking good.
gg
Yes I too think you probably are the only 'share holder' who thinks this smacks of desperation.
Commodity Discovery Award. was given by a long time major share holder who did NOT sell when the shares were 37p.
Clearly they expect the price to move MUCH higher.
A good encouraging and very worthwhile RNS.
The Commodity Discovery Award was promoting its own holdings which include a large amount of Greatland shares, which can be bought directly.
It is interesting that the company did not sell GGP when the shares reached 37p.
Clearly they are expecting a much higher share price for Greatland.
So are we.
Willem Middlekoop at Commodity Discovery Fund owns a lot of shares.
He is looking for huge gains so I reckon we are in the right place at the right time.
Greatland could have won last year but were not quite ready.
Yet more good news - and things have never looked better.
