Selling oil from Horsehill ... when? We been waiting for this for 5 years now and as yet it has not materialised. Also looks like ukog gave up on the Weald and has moved to Turkey.

Selling gold from Clogau ... oh yes, GF did say that he is going to go in to a joint venture with a jeweller. He said that quite a long time back and as of yet the JV has not materialised. GF said that all the gold found during the exploration phase is Alba’s to sell for profits... as of yet we have not seen a single piece of gold from Clogau (not even 0.0000000001 grammes).

I have learned to not count my chickens before they hatch ... my bet is on another placing before we see any possible benefit from selling gold or oil. Let’s hope that the next placing is at much higher SP than the last one ... but as the time passes with the SP stagnant?

In my opinion, GF does need to change course on Alba promotion if the SP is ever going to appreciate.

TullyCrow, I have been in Alba for 5 years now and I know how GF operates.

I bought Alba at 0.75p - when the MCap was roughly a third of what it now is.

How well is GF doing? - I judge this with the value of the SP.

Yes, Alba grew during this time (MCap substantially increased) but the SP declined and is yet to reach my purchase of 0.75p.

Shareholder value is reflected in the value of the SP and nothing else (in the absence of divis).

Elir, I agree about the fundamentals, but I am not talking about company value (MCap), I am talking about the SP.

The SP will not appreciate without healthy and sustained sentiment even though the MCap may increase.

Take Alba for example, about 2/3 years ago the Alba MCap was roughly half of what it is now even though 2/3 years ago the SP was higher. You know the reason.

Personally, I am not interested in the company value (MCap), I am interested in shareholder value which is reflected in the value of the SP (not the company value - which relates to the fundamentals).

Unless GF wakes up and start to properly promote Alba, the Alba SP will not appreciate in the long term - in my opinion.

More importantly, GF needs to wind in the management of expectations and let the market decide on what to expect.

Not a single trade yet! ... and UKOG traded 200++ million 0.48p now! —- how can UKOG worth a lot more than Alba? When Alba has far more valuable assets?

Because is not the fundamentals that really matter - is people’s perception of the fundamentals that moves the markets ...

... and GF is not really helping!

CJ, GF did exactly the same thing beginning of the year after the Xmas holidays ... everybody was waiting for Clogau and he issued an RNS on Greenland ... SP got knocked off. I hope this time it holds, fingers crossed. GLTA.

Nookie, relatively speaking nobody is selling down here ... volume today is a mere 24.5 million - effectively nothing, ALBA has over 6 billion shares in circulation. So, all existing shareholders are effectively holding.

The point is ... nobody is buying - why?

GF needs to cut back on expectations management and properly promote Alba.

Alba needs to pay attention to and try and boost sentiment if the SP is ever going to see any appreciation.

Alba always had net 11.1% of HHDL. Not contributing to the last HHDL funding call changed that by a tiny amount ... 0.01% or there about.

Even UKOG now is at higher SP than ALBA with a much higher MCap! How can this be when ALBA has more valuable assets?

After what happened at 88E (0.20p to 5p) and UKOG now (0.11p to 0.38p and still going) there is plenty of hope here. Hope has returned ... every dog has his day ... only a matter of time.

The MMs must know something, they raised the SP up and appear to want to drive it up on relatively low volume (4.9 mil). Probably a funding closing RNS lasted on.

Ocelot, whatever fumes UKOG is running on, we need some of that for Alba ... 2.9 billion shares traded do far in just 2.5 hours. Absolutely amazing.
