I expect to get good news (Clogau assay results or Greenland) before financing news. IMO, with 3 placings and tons of warrants already exercised, they have enough money for Clogau for now. They also have enough to mobilise on Greenland.

George had his ears burned on a number of accessions and IMO, will hold back until the SP is higher than last placing. If the SP doesn’t appreciate that much then is a different story ... But then again, if it doesn’t appreciate is his own fault.

Alba is very undervalued atm, but no sentiment, destroyed after the last 2 RNSs.

Volume is relatively low atm andI hope we get a spark to reignite buying sentiment but will take substantially more interest to move up. Personally I am not expecting anything now until we get a GOOD RNS.

As I posted earlier, the 0.30p level was a very strong support that lasted for over 6 months. Now it turned into resistance and will take very good news to break above it. Hopefully, the assay results from the surface drills (expected soon) will provide the catalyst to break through 0.30p and propel us higher. Fingers crossed and GLTA.

Improving a bit ... anything over 0.2595 is a buy now.

Elir, a placing from this level, with current negative sentiment, will completely kill the share price. If it does happen, I for one will be extremely furious and will let Alba know about it.

I don’t think GF would consider one now, he could wait until sentiment changes. Very easy to reverse this negative sentiment ... just show a bit of gold ... I hope he got the message now after collapsing the SP with his last 2 RNSs.

Another week and no funding closure ... soon it will be May and no funding closure?

My bet is 99.99999999% - no funding closure. Maybe an RNS kicking the can down the road ... in to June/July.

Is not the MMs that are walking the SP down ... is doubts induced by GF himself - by not coming up with assay results - by not showing any gold.

Is in GF’s hands to reverse this.

In 1979, two guys purchased and opened up Clogau gold mine and within a year they were extracting gold and producing commercial jewellery - compare that with Alba being drilling and sampling in the same gold mine for a year ... and what gold have they found and shown us? - zero.

This is not because there is no gold there, is because of GF’s decision to drill and sample everything before he does assay results.

Alba did not divert to finding gold in the pits! Going in to the waste pits is additional to the main exploration and is a way of finding early gold and bringing in early revenue generation - is a good thing.

The problem is that GF should have started on this much earlier. The problem is that GF did not announce the assay results from underground drilling and bulk sampling ... collected last Sept/Oct. The problem is that GF, after one year of drilling and sampling in a GOLD MINE ... did not show any gold.

It doesn’t mean that there is no gold down there, is just the approach that GF took to drill and sample everything that he wants to drill and sample before he releases any results - but the market which is mainly PIs doesn’t like to wait that long before it sees gold. No other mining company takes this approach ... they announce results as they finish the drills and show gold samples whenever they stumble on to them.

Until this sinks in GF’s head not much will change. Communicating these issues back to Alba could help with bringing about change.

Elir71’ s 7:31 and 7:53 posts are spot on, 100% on the money. - Criticising the BOD of a share that you own is not undermining of the share price.

The SP is where it sits now at 0.25p, down from 0.56p at the beginning of the year, not because of anything said on this board but 100% down to GF delaying the assay results - not showing any gold so far in to the exploration program and therefore inducing DOUBTS.

This is all down to the decisions that GF takes, and this one obviously is not helping to bring shareholder value - in fact achieved the opposite.

Posts disappear then may appear after several refresh attempts. The chat in the past used to work very well, now you post something and it simply vanishes. It later appears. The site is not friendly to use anymore.

Gallifreyan, good post. You should email an exact copy of it to Angus. Patience here is being tested to the limits.

What I got out of this is

1. Working hard on the drilling program in Greenland to start in the summer. For Amitsoq, Prographite is doing some more graphite analysis and results will be out soon.

2. Clogau historic pit - we will know whether revenue can be generated within a couple of months - May.

2. He said it takes about 2 weeks for the laboratory to do the assays - So, we should expect an RNS for the Phase 1 drilling assay results soon.

All very good, pity the sentiment now is at such a state!

I wonder if a mining expert on this board can explain that and why Alba hasn’t retrieved any gold yet. How did those two manage to extract the gold from the mine that quick is impressive.

I don’t know the regs in Greenland, but I thought Jay already had an exploitation licence?

From what I know, the new government is objecting to rare earths mining, it should not affect Alba or Jay. Perhaps is a question to email Alba with?

Elir, you are right and there is no doubt GF f*cked up on this one. Those samples were collected almost 6 months ago.

One of them was supposed to be sent to the lab for assaying and the rest processed by the pilot plant first. This didn’t happen.

They sent some concentrate to the lab which proved their flowsheet and being able to get 20.7 grammes per tonne of concentrate. We have no idea how the concentrate sent to the lab relates to the bulk samples collected. And you are right, those bulk samples include the samples obtained from the underground drills, is not just things they picked off the ground.

Again, this confusion, the delay in the bulk sampling results, and the lag of a showing of gold contributed to the SP being knocked off.
