Guys, cries of con are not justified. isn’t the BOD owed money?

When was the last placing? Correct me if I am wrong but from what I know, the last placing was for £500k (same as now) on 20 September 2018 … two and a half years ago. Compare this to other similar companies.

This small £500k placing will keep things ticking over until ratification. Is down to the Ghana and Bolivian governments to conclude this. The placing will provide the funds to continue negotiating and keep the lights on. Cash burn here is extremely low.

This placing to me is another opportunity to load up.

It needs patience and GLTA.

Did Forrest Nominees have to fork out £700k+ in order to achieve this? If the plan was to dilute us to oblivion, why waste three quarters of a million pounds?

HITS, the only thing that makes me hold on to the shares now is the involvement of Forrest Nominees.

As per last TR-1 filed, they are holding 94,496,666 shares. They bought these at an SP ranging from 0.6p to 1p, say 0.8p average. This equates to £756k This is a lot of money to invest in Angus after the initial funding announcement.

What is your view of this?

HITS, I lost my patience completely with this shower of BOD, they cannot organise a p*ss up in a brewery.

They been torturing us for far too long.

Trying to find a ray of hope from somewhere, a straw to clutch on but what is the point? If the investors where there it would not take this long to close the funding deal. As the time passes, I am getting more and more convinced that there are no investors out there willing to lend Angus the money. The ongoing delay is due to Angus searching for investors.

I cannot see what magic trick they can pull to come up with the funds. I am now 99% certain in my mind that there is no funding deal to be had. My 1% uncertainty is down to Forrest Nominees owing 10% of Angus - invested several hundred thousand pounds. Have they been suckered like the rest of us?

It stated this: “…. Angus is preparing charges to be registered and working to satisfy the conditions precedent set out in the Loan Facility Agreement in view of signing the Agreements and receiving the funds in the NEAR TERM”.

I’ll say that 6 weeks is quite a bit more than “near term”?

That has been my point all along. GF never strikes at the right time with the right news.

Greenland has opened up on 2 May. GF must know this and a mobilisation plan should have been in place already. Not issuing an update on Greenland mobilisation is yet another f*ck up! I was expecting an update on Greenland before 2 May.

What is he waiting for? The SP to collapse further down?

CoolMax, precisely! GF needs to change and up his game … PR needs to be transformed. It doesn’t matter what we have if the SP doesn’t shift up!

The hot issue that bothers me is Alba failure to support the SP - Alba killed a very healthy sentiment completely. The SP should have been much higher than here.

Other exploration companies, starting from an SP of 0.0 p (<0.1p) last year, same as Alba, performed much better. Alba has Clogau (a ready made gold mine) plus Greenland, in better position than the other exploration companies … yet the other companies SPs outperformed the Alba SP - because of GF’s management of expectations, not paying attention to sentiment and screwing up on the Pilot Plant and last years bulk samples.

The SP is damaged and the damage is 100% down to Alba.

I am tired of not seeing any SP appreciation in the last 5 years … I bought at 0.75p a few years ago … and we haven’t seen that price since!

I am not staying that what you post is wrong - a production licence will indeed change things for the better, considerably better. What I am saying is that the SP should now be much higher than where it is. The reason is not is GF.

Alba did announce recently that they intend to start processing the old waste pits for early revenue generation. They are sampling/testing the pits now. Why they didn’t start on this earlier is beyond me. Apparently, they can sell all the gold they find during this phase and pay 4% royalty fee.

IMO, the reason the SP is failing to gain ground is not the lack of production licence, it is GF’s management of expectations, not paying attention to sentiment, the way Clogau was handled (not issuing the bulk sample results at the end of Q1 cut the SP legs off) and so on.

Other similar companies with no production licences have done considerably better, see my post below on “what really matters”.

Elir, is not the SP movement that bothers me, it is the SP level and the failure to appreciate - for the SP to be down here at this time is inexcusable. All down to the reasons in my post below.

Noobz, spot on. As I previously said, unless placings occur at increasingly higher SP, the SP will fail to appreciate even though the MCap grows. GF really needs to up his game.

The SP is back down below 0.30p, yet again.

What really matters to an investor? The answer is simple – the value of the SP since it is the value of the SP that determines investor gains, or, losses.

So what matters to an investor is the SP, but what determines the value of the SP? Some will answer fundamentals, but I don’t agree with this.

What determines the value of the SP, the SP driver, is the market perception of the fundamentals, market expectations, and above all sentiment. This is most important in exploration companies with no defined assets and no revenue – just like Alba.

We all here know that Alba SP is undervalued, but why is that? IMO is because the market expectations have been dampened and sentiment has been almost killed. Expectations dampened with GF’s management of expectations and sentiment almost killed with his failure to show any gold and the f*ck up with the bulk samples.

Had GF managed expectations differently, showed some gold and produced the bulk sample results on time the SP would have been much higher than here.

Just for comparison, I have been watching 3 similar companies; UFO, BZT & ALBA (for the record, I am only invested in Alba). All three last year had an SP with a value of less than 0.10p, more or less at the same time. Right now, the UFO SP is at 1.14p and pushing higher, the BZT SP is at 0.41p and pushing higher, and the ALBA SP is at 0.28p and pushing lower. Why? The answer is above.

IMO, in the future we may get good ALBA RNSs and the SP will jump, but unless GF changes approach, the SP will very likely not hold on to the gains … and in the meantime if another placing occurs (I know we don’t want to talk about these but at some time it will happen) the SP will very likely drop and then may come back up to more or less the same level.

The handling of the Pilot plant is another fiasco. Is really inexcusable for the SP to be down here. Fingers crossed, GF will up his PR, cut back on expectations management and let the market decide what to expect, pay attention to sentiment and do things that improve sentiment.

Only my opinion (IMO) and GLTA.

HITS, I do understand the desire to hit back … revenge!!Take Angus to the cleaners for the loss that they caused us with promises that did not materialise. I know this, I feel it in my bones!

But at the same time we are here to make money … on AIM!

If we are truly invested here … and we are currently loosing, why not grasp an opportunity that might reverse the losses? Please enlighten me.

AAOG SEL SF deal values Angus at 1-.75p on Saltfleetby alone.. Add the other assets and is quite a bit more than that.

Gkb, I have a lot of money tight up here. I’ll take anything that might recover that.

As we know, the stock market is speculation - anything is possible. I’ll clutch on to a lifeline when I see one. I buy AIM stocks to make money. Ok, Angus so far didn’t work out. Hopefully, it will change.

Add that to the Angus tax losses … and we are rich 0:)

Maybe the tax losses is the attractive part of this deal? Anything made out of SF is tax free.

1.75p for SF plus more for the rest. Fingers crossed is 2.4p 0:)

We got a new SF valuation now … 1.75p … I’ll take this as is a lot closer to 2.4p than where we now are.
