The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Worth remembering that those in at 28p
Were -99.29% down with there investment in Dec 2023.
£100 invested with Helium one at 28p was worth less than 73p for context.
Laura the ceo has ZERO Investment with Helium one.
Unlike the discovery statement of noble helium Laura ceo of helium one, has been shrewd and not stated all she could have in the discovery RNS
Also remember in Dec 2023 helium one diluted massively with a shareholding of hundreds of millions to billions of share now in issue.
Helium one was pretty much heading for administration in Dec 2023 and miraculously they have found a helium well spouting endless riches?
Don't gamble what you may lose and lose big you might.
My opinions only. Not worth it.
Please folk look at the negatives or at least consider them.
To me it's like a student who got A-Level grades C, D, E applying to Cambridge University and getting a letter back from the university saying 'we are considering your application' and then telling everyone he has made it big.
It's the same daft scenario with Helium one.
Took the company from 28p to 0.2p per share and now sitting the odds with some half baked incomplete RNS about discovering helium at 4.7% from a sample which hasn't even been verified.
At least have a brain to wait it out and see if its all hot air, with Helium ones track record it probably is.
Sit is not being destroyed merely stating factual info as per last post.
A pending massive helium discovery and the 'board did NOT take part'
'In December the company did a placing at a 72% discount increasing the shares from 1 bil to 3.5bil. Wiped out existing shareholders. I suspect Sarah cope arranged this.
The 6 directors only subscribed to 7.2mil shares between them. £18k. Not reassuring.
The last placing was done at a 30% discount before releasing more data and the board didn't take part'
Not sitting but stating FACT.
Take off your rose tinted glasses and read my last post which has FACTUAL info
Thank you.
The more you good the more you discover, not helium but how risky an investment this company is.
Hardly any skin in the game from the directors.

HELIUM ONE has held back information. Compare with nobles 4th December rns.
1. Reservoir thickness.
2. Formation pressure.
3. Formation permeability.
We don't have any indication of volume.
That information is typically released.
4.5% helium concentration from a 100m high pressure reservoir is worth a lot more than a 5m low pressure reservoir.
The company should release that information and schedule a flow test. The latter they can justify doing before lab results get back.

The placing was done too early imo.
"working capital position, which will enable us to fully focus on the next phase of the Company's growth."
I prefer the funds were properly allocated before raising.
Not a deramper!
With a £1000 invested, it wouldn't be in my interest to do that.
What i am saying though is that I thought i was investing
But it appears more a GAMBLE!
Helium one have not revealed all they could have at the last RNS.
I'm questioning there trustworthiness and honesty.
Everyone can see they had plummeted from 28p to 0.2p before this news.
Don't see many reputable companies sharing that fate!
Helium one before this RNS was on its knees.
Release a RNS about helium find which is relatively vague in detail and description (compare it to the nobel helium RNS).
And the gambling ramblers are saying 10p, 5p even a £1 soon. Unbelievable and stupidly reckless.
Like iv said before a trusted outfit like BP, Shell etc and yep I'd have remortgaged the house and invested.
Helium one with a dodgy, chequered history no chance.
A fool and his money are easily parted....
Pubcrawl instead of spouting rubbish answer the question. Why is Helium one not fully disclosing information? Explain?

Zebra04 if the following info had been released with the RNS regarding helium at 4.7%, surely this would have taken the share price much much higher.
more information and data would have allowed better analysis and prediction of outcome etc. regained more trust for Helium one

I got in at 2.7p
For me this stock is now clearly a COMPLETE GAMBLE! its a complete BINARY stock.
If and a BIG IF, all the MANY conditions are met, and extraction happens - life changing monies - we will al be in dreamland.
If it fails or does not meet the conditions - then many of us will lose HUGE amounts - life changing amounts of money for some.
Its not an investment, its a GAMBLE, il call it what it is.
If this doesnt work out for HE1 the company will in effect be heading towards administration
My opinions only.
Thank you Zebra04 your comment below has helped me make my decision. Clearly not forthcoming with vital information to determine viability of exploration.

This is one of the reasons why i dont trust He1.
Afterall the turmoil and heartache shareholders have gone through over the past few years - i would have thought they would have released an RNS quite comprehensive about what was discovered (like Nobel Helium did with there RNS).
I would have thoughe HE1 management would have wanted to redeem themselves for there disastorus performence over last few years.
But Helium One chose not to. instead releasing buzz points to draw in the punters.
Its taken professional investor who invest in mining stocks to see that certain info has been selectively omitted or not put into the RNS declaring the discovery.
I am inclined to sell my stock on Monday at whatever price i get. The more read about He1 the less i trust them.
Some very very good post from this afternoon and evening - esp Legalwolf and some others.
Its good to see scrutiny of HE1 and not just accepting everything they have said at face value. Like i said a persons history and background precedes them. A bit like a CV you wouldnt employ someone who was unstable in a jon, had a criminal record etc
Same applies to HE1, there history is chequred to say the least, they are a relatively new company with little sucess in the way of exploration, and responsible for the wipeout of many shareholders taking a share price from a gleaming 28p to 0.2p!
So scrutiny is well deserved and extra scrutiny is even more so.
I am invested £1k but do not want to invest anymore until i am happy with the company and what they are saying.
As the many post from earlier today confirm, Lorna has not given the full story of the He1 discovery, she has given little information and a punchline headline of 4.7% - she has basically released what a gambling shareholder would feed off.
This is where due dilligence and responsibility come into play.
A major FTSE 100 company such as Shell would have released such info in depth and in its entirety. Not intentionally deluding or cheating the shareholder.
This is why i still stand by my original statement - this discovery is not a given, do not gamble or waste your hard earned money, do not invest what you cant afford to lose.....
Until He1 release a comprehensive statement - FULLY COMPREHENSIVE statement - i would personally stay away.
Two month wait till the next bit of news.
The share price will tank by the time results come through.
No support level whatsoever.
Good things come to those who wait, wait it out you'll get an entry sub 1p before results come out.
Meanwhile, the performance of oil and gas megaprojects collapsed; only 22% of these projects could reasonably be called successful.
worrying times ahead - but feel free to gamble away

they are protracting the period of anmoucement of 'world class' find and the next rns this is so they could rope in as many mugs as they can before telling the gamblers that there is eff all significant in terms of helium.
this is the difference between a company like shell and helium one.
shell would have done multiple tests and only then announced made public, pretty much guaranteeing a find.
helium one has a couple of fart bubbles and made a song and dance about it. the next geologist may say there is absolute *******s here lorna and this will tumble no end.
i really can't trust this company. and you guys are really gullible if you think your going to make millions from them.
the sad truth is no majors/big players are buying their story at least not yet.
prove your worth helium one.
4.7% helium and 2% hydrogen and no methane.
Looks all good.
Forgot to mention.
Crackpot management team of helium 1, who drove a share price from 28p to 0.2p
Who drove people's £10,000 investment to £71
Who have often self praised no end and delivered little.
A management team which has ZERO self investment in the company.
Zero historic comparable measurements to base performence off.
Complete gamble. Either complete win or complete loss.
Pecentage of fossil/gas projects which go from discovery to actual production = 20%
The odds are really with us?
Don't gamble, this will be below a penny in no time
Think about it
Helium one shares at 28p went down all the way to 0.2p
£10,000 invested at 28p was worth just £71 when Share price was at 0.2
£10,000 = £71
And now the SAME guys are promising the world with magical words such as 'world class' nothing which is quantifiable or measurable. Just spouting buzz words which the gamblers are addicted too.
If it was that good or easy would have had
-skin in the game (directors invested there own money)
-investment funds lining up
-raised millions more in placing
Couldn't trust the management as far as I could throw them.
Friday afternoon a sell off is inevitable, watch when the United States switches on faster 14:30 this will fall away much faster and further.
Also worth remembering it's the same crooked establishment at helium one. Yes the ones that took it from 28p to 0.2p.
Can't trust them. I think they will burn us shareholders.
None of them any personal investments in the company (no skin in the game).
And so can pretty much say whatever the hell they want.
Bit like broadcasting everything negative about Putin and when he wants to say anything turn off the airwaves.
Make the public bias. Make the public dumb. Make them hear only what you want them to hear. Propaganda no end.
Helium management.
Leopard and spots.
2p has arrived!
Most sucked in with promises and expectations of quick money.
5p by Friday? 10p by Friday?
Some loon even said a £1
And yet we are at 2p!
Now watch that brilliant management team give a heap of excuses regarding not being able to get the helium, poor quality, accessibility issues, dilutions as funding not suffieicnt.
All been sucked in
"From a quick check on different university websites, typical turnaround for commercial sample testing at noble gas labs seems to be running around 2-6 months at the moment"
During which time the Sp and Shareholder value will slowly drift away to 0.6p levels. Delays will occur in sampling. Another fund raise will happen.
No directors buys will happen.
And 6 months later we will be at 0.6p
