The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Sorry are you talking about the helium one board?
'In many years of investing I have never known such an infantile , ignorant , poisonous , deceitful assembly of valueless....... .'
Panama City, Panama.
Skyscrapers galore!
Big high rises!
Shame helium one isnt
Agree buying and selling happens - doh!
But the buying and selling shows characteristic traits.
More buyers, than sellers means more faith, consensus, credibility that this is destined to do well.
Sellers = buyers (quick buck, little long term conviction)
Yesterday sellers matched buyers. Most people wanting to make fast money and be out. Little optimism for long term or for this to deliver
Sorry yesterday I was on a flight to Panama City, Panama.
Take a step back and think.
Yesterday's rise was based on exactly........ Nothing. No news, rns, tweet from management, nothing.
The majority of buyers yesterday were at some point also the sellers.
People are just buying AND selling they hype until the RNS as they know there is fast money to BE made.
Why aren't people holding onto there 'golden tickets' ? Have a think?
Trust or lack of it.
Rinse and repeat by helium management highly possible.
It's a shame it didn't hit higher on open so I could have bailed
Room for gamblers more like.
The churn rate of buys and sells says its all.
People are putting there money in making a quick buck then bailing.
Could even be the management doing it?
The whole thing stinks rotten.
Shows complete lack of conviction and belief, but then again why believe in a company that has shafted its shareholders many times over.
When's the next shafting?
At 4pm when the punters start pulling out this will drop like a stone.
My prediction 2.05p at close today.
What goes up must come......... Down.
The clever investors are those that are buying and selling on the day. Look at the volume of buys and sells its massive.
So what does this prove.
People in it for a quick win. Get in and get out. Don't hold too long or it may drop
Proves that there is no long term trust or conviction with helium one.
Too summarize it's a complete GAMBLE!
Investing in helium one
20% chance of making it big
80% chance of losing your money
Investing in ftse 100 eg: fresnillo
10% chance of making it big
90% chance you'll make your money back if not more
Said it all along when the rampers were saying it's going be at 3p, 5p 10p and someone even said £1
Classic case of a pump and dump.
Everyone has boarded, entrapment has followed now people scared to bail with there losses.
Next few weeks news will be releasef of estimates not being accurate, drilling sampling issues etc and this will fall away further still.
No support levels
Yes Laura did not but at 0.25p
But nothing stopping management from buying helium one stocks now?
Surely it would indicate confidence more if management were to buy now?
Or are they not confident the sp will go up?
Yep looking to sell out.
But being honest, i cant see Helium one ever making it big on this discovery.
Very decietful and dishonest as a company and i can see them make shareholders suffer for much longer.
I think any run/rise has already happend on a false promise and tomorrow and the rest of the week will see red.
When it settles at the 1p level it will be there for absolute months on end before tumbling away further.
I think we have had our flurry, now the fall will commence.
I can only see bad news coming our way
My 1.5p's worth and by the weeken 1.1p
My prediction - this week it will end much much lower 1.2p
Endless ramping so much false optimism.
The share price will do the talking this week.
As for me not investing a penny more and looking to bail out by Friday and if can recoup my losses.
So far we have had management omit essential information on discovery RNS
We have had no investment by management.
We have 1 of 3 Wells giving UPTO 4.7%. Carefully omitted details of ofher Wells.
And a incompetent helium one that was almost wiped out in December now discussing billions.
Might buy some beans fom someone called Jack on way home as it may turn into a beanstalk tomorrow
This week we need the following to happen to have the Sp reach new highs and more importantly instill confidence:
1) release and RNS COMPREHENSIVELY DETAILING
Reservoir thickness, formation pressure, formation permeability, an idea of volume (noble helium did this in there discovery RNS), we ought to as well.
2) management must invest and share Shareholder pain/gain and have skin in the game. A substantial amount.
3) be honest, open and forthcoming with announcements. You have shafted shareholders enough, be human and show some compassion let us know what is actually happening instead of reading between lines and deciphering
Thank you for seeing both sides.
We have to scrutinise and be non-emotive. It's our money, hard earned withn lots of sweat and tears.
Yana's post are based on fact and not optimism
I am scrutinizing helium one and I think before you part with hard earned cash you ought to as well.
When you apply for a mortgage the bank tests if you can afford it, check your bank statements and earnings, take a deposit, do a house report etc
Same things when you invest here scrutinize what is being said no end and err on the side of caution.
So far from what has been stated by most posters is endless euphoric optimism. Reckless.
What you need to be determining is cold hard facts.
Can this company who fell from 28p to 0.2p ever recover?
Is this discovery the real thing or is it just something of a last gasp effort to draw in punters to save the company from going into administration?
Are the RNS telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?
Is there information which should be volunteered and forthcoming being withheld?
How much is the ceo and management invested in the company do they have much to lose or gain? Surely if they were to personally gain hace confidence in the company and it's ventures they would increase there investment?
all questions I would ask and scrutinize to the nth degree.
Don't give your money away like it's sweets. You have put in many hard hours earning it!
At the moment helium one for me is being economical with the truth and not disclosing everything they ought to (unlike noble heliums discovery rns). Most of the management and Lorna the ceo have not got a penny invested in the company, helium discovered or not they stand to gain little, therefore less confidence in actual helium commercialisation?
And above all the company had fallen 99.29% from it's peak.
Almost like taking at face value, someone on minimum wage with no savings asking for a loan/mortgage on a £10m house in Kensington saying he has 'secured' a investment banker job that pays £250k year and cay easily repay it back.
a big no-no
Thank you mryfronts
Zak mir (he is a charleton too)
'premier African should do a helium one and keep raising'
Lol - means keep diluting
£100 was worth less than 73p
Let that sink in.
