LC said that he is looking at diversifying geographically (and he's done well there) and by fuel source.
Throwing in a few gas powered (in Tanz) or solar plants would be the next logical steps. Once he sells down big chunk of MCPP on FC!

So, if they can easily sell the gas, either via LNG route as in Moz or pipeline, wouldn't Tanz prefer not to use gas for electricity gen but sell it for hard currency. Then what are the alternatives - COAL and hydro, sprinkled with renewables!

Twitter change was easy and been like that for a few days
When I checked the website it came up with the following pop up: PROJECT UPDATES - Mmmm
"This website is currently being updated and will soon reflect the recently updated name change to Kibo Energy PLC , associated re-branding and project updates. Thank you for your patience while these updates are being implemented."
Possible.
I remember investing at 1.5p in Bushveld only few yrs ago ans is now close to 30p. I sold at 3p as I didn't understand its business
50p sp is so possible here and I am not planning on selling out early!
Was just reading that the Minister of Energy was in Bagomoyo today and congratulated Tanesco for supplying 22MW energy to one of the processing plants there! And the plant waited for it for SEVEN years.
How many such businesses are waiting for reliable and affordable energy. Eg all the gold and other miners are spending close to 100c kWh as have to run on generators.
300MW is nothing and no brainer
Especially as the Minister ordered Tanesco to end all oil based electricity gen by end of September!

Spot on on Irish fun. I am sure they will be mopping up lots of shares in the coming weeks and months.
Although I expected for it to happen next month, as is quarter end and when performance fees are calculated

Nice to hear from you. Hope you are keeping well in the lush green isle. Have you been to Tanz recently?
The govt announcement said to visit various REA installations, but assuming she (and it is a SHE, same lady who LC and GE's top (dog who paid top dollar for 20% of the Kenyan project) met some time ago) is flying from/to Songwe airport, it will be a crime not stop on the way and visit those schools that KIBO rebuilt!
