I am just happy that we are above 0.04p That was when this company was touch and go. I am now 100% certain the psc licence will be extended very soon and a drill will spud late this year or early next year.
Tilburn, you then need to multiply to full field development. There are 3 pay zones on each well. Off the top of my head there are targets at 5,000', 6,000' and 7,000' sands.
With 1 bn barrels of oil and 25% recoverable = 250MM barrels of oil With 5% to Copl that would be 12.5MM barrels of oil At $40 poo that would give a turnover of $500M Which could give a profit of $250M
On top of this there could be upto 5bn barrels of oil and Copl can increase their share to 15%
Kola at Shoreline is in bed with the Nigerian Government. Kola is a director of Schlumberger Nigeria who are pretty big in Nigeria. The licence extension is 100% nailed on in my opinion. I am sure assurances would have been given in advance of the deal being signed between Shorecan and Essar M.
There were a couple of rigs coming off hire close to OPL226 in September/October. They would be hot rigs so Essar M could get drilling fairly quickly, maybe October/November. All this news still to come in the next few weeks.
This is the most positive I have felt about COPL since the Liberian duster. Hopefully the PSC licence extension will be issued in the next few days to give a further boost to the SP. I have a feeling we may spud in December 2020 but what do I know.
Sam, probably about 5p now. However, that was on the lead up to the drill in Liberia. If that well have come in the SP was expected to rise to 60p that is why I bought in at 10p. That 60p would have been about 30p now with dilution.
Also we have only had some of the news. People predicted a big rise when we received all the news together. That is signed agreement + PSC licence extension + drill timetable. So there is still a long way to go yet.
MRRR, the last rise of 300% was over several days. It didn't rise that much on the day when the RNS was issued. The big rise happened in the following days.
MrMezzanine, I would 100% agree that the news is already lined up ready to release in stages. Licence, drill timetable, spa, rig, marginal licence, etc. We will be on a few months of positive news.
Sam, after the RNS on 4th June there wasn't really any risk. As Shaa said yesterday in his table of possibilities the chance of the deal not being signed was 5% or less.
