The thing is that the rig has nothing to do with Arthur. Essar M are hiring the rig.

If we could find confirmation that one of those jack up rigs was for Noa-1 on OPL226 then the company would have to issue an RNS. Maybe something will come out in the weekend press or trade magazine. I will keep hunting around.

The most important information was the post last night about jack up rig hire. Sorry I forgot who posted it but a great find. One of those rigs is ours. So either a September spud date or January spud date. I would bet my life on one of those coming true. The timings fit in.

The extension would have been agreed before Essar M and Shorecan resolved the dispute. All we are waiting for now is the nnpc to give the nod that the extension can be published. Next week I reckon.

This share has already risen 1200% in 3 months. Another 10 to 20 bags to go yet.

If they sell now Kev then in a years time they will be looking back and thinking I missed out on £1m.

No further deadlines have been issued.
However, the following news will come over the next days and weeks:-
1. PSC Licence extension
2. Hiring of rig. Possibly Sept 20 to Jan 21 or Jan 21 onwards. See post late last night.
3. Drill timelines, plan and spud date.
4. Nigerian Marginal licences.
5. Mozambique update.
6. Something new that we haven't considered.

So lots of news to come. Just sit tight and enjoy the ride. Don't worry about daily SP fluctuations.

There is only one way this SP is going over the next few days, weeks and years and that is up. They never go up in a straight line. 10 steps forward and 2 steps back. Look how far we have come from 0.035p about 3 months ago. Who would have believed this would happen. I thought we would still be chasing finance. Unbelievable progress.

Yes Shaa, they adjust the spread to create a false mid price.

Market makers do the same job as an estate agent. They match sellers with buyers and charge a margin as their commission. An estate agent doesn't own houses themself in the same way a market maker doesn't own shares.

Also another myth is that market makers hold loads of shares. They hold a small amount to cover their obligations. Otherwise their job is to match a buyer with a seller.

Yes it is the London Stock Exchange that cannot decipher whether a transaction is a buy or sell. The system has a guess based on the mid price. Nothing to do with market makers. All the market makers can do is delay showing trades which they are very good at doing. Even so there are rules on how long they can delay showing a trade.

I don't think the transfer from Essar M to Shorecan was ever put up to nnpc for approval. That was an action point still waiting to be completed.
