A big thank you to those of you who attended the meeting and who have shared your impressions with the rest of us. The feeling I get is that the outlook is still very positive and that LC and his colleagues are the best people to have in charge. I am undaunted by the fact that the sp does not reflect the situation as it appears to me. It is good to have Wimbo once more being active on this board. I hope this continues

Very timely in the light of the failure to get more nuclear power underway.

Most people hear what they want to hear, and believe in what they want to believe. Any evidence to the contrary is dismissed as anomalous.

It is possible that Mag truly believes that the Stiegler Dam will be best means of generating electricity in just 26 months time, so why authorise a coal fired power station when the big international message is that coal is no longer to be used. The Dam would, in his eyes, be a lasting memorial to his foresight, and his ability as a great leader. People believe what they want to believe. I suspect that LC recognises this and that at the meeting in London he will be promoting more what is going on in Botswana and Mozambique.

Sadly I cannot be there but I hope there will be plenty of reports and comments on it.

In the Hard Talk programme on BBC world service this morning (available on BBC Iplayer) a TZ opposition member of parliament was interviewed. He is recovering from an assassination attempt in the supposedly secure government compound, and had some strong views about Mag.

A £60,000 investment on the 2nd. shows someone has confidence and expectations

I think we are at last going to see the fulfilment of our hopes and expectations. We have been, imvho, most fortunate to have a sound and unwavering CEO. Impatience, ridicule etc directed against LC are unjustified. Kibo's plans were approaching fruition just when there was a huge political change of attitude at the manner in which big public investments are made. LC has been able to show that he is a man of integrity. After what has happened hitherto, it is not surprising that the new government is determined not to be taken advantage of, so every stone is being turned over and inspected by cautious officials. I think Kibo has nothing to fear. TZ will want to make sure that the country benefits and rightly so. At last I think we are reaching the point where LC's straight and thorough approach will achieve what we want. Encouragingly there are investors today who have shown their own confidence in this great project succeeding. If I had the spare cash, I would increase my holding. Nothing is certain but 2019 shows great promise. A Happy New Year to one and all

The price has dropped a bit since. Mr. Dardis is taking the company into a different direction but is it the right one. He has put a lot of company money into high end venues but...

It looks as though someone has cut and run selling approx 100,000 shares. That is another bad omen.
