"Historically, it's what they do, repeatedly, regardless of contract size or RNS's of great things to come."
There hasn't been a placing for 14 months. That is a long time on AIM so is this statement of yours really still valid? Most AIM companies would have done at least two in that time. How many months must pass before you change your view on that statement?
I do agree that there is a lot of fear in this share right now. People panicking that there will be a placing and people panicking that the contract might be taken off us. The Twitter trolls or playing on this fear for their own trades.
My view is that there will not be one and that the chances are near zero. If the company wanted to raise cash off of the back of the FSS news they would have done so in late November/early December when the share price was in the 20s, long before they released the poor trading update. The company has enough working capital from the last debt raise to see them through Q1, plus smaller contracts will be bringing in money.
But people who hold 0 shares will be happy to tell you a placing is coming. Because they want cheaper re-entry price.
