Am I right in thinking that the UK Export Finance facility is designed to guarantee the lender loan (Astra) and allow us to get better terms? Or am I misunderstanding what it is.

I am expecting finance news in April since the RNS said "early Q2". Anything other than April is not early Q2 in my view.

We are all here to make money at the end of the day. Unfortunately some people like Jono are here to make money by putting people off buying so the share price can drop.

Institutions and funds sell shares all the time, in every stock. That's market mechanics. The real issue is we don't seem to be attracting new ones to replace them. The low market cap probably isn't helping.

Also ig Allianz have sold out without any TR-1s then that is corruption. Just like when Lombard sold out without any TR-1s.

Hebridean9 is just another bitter troll who bought in the 2018 spike sold at a loss at the wrong time.

That £35k buy alone moved the share price up today. That to me suggests the MMs don't have many shares. Traders are selling 3-5% gains and they are being hoovered up. Chunks like that at a premium usually aren't bought for trading purposes.

Every bit of information they reveal shows that their financial situation was far worse than they claimed. Still think shareholders will get something, but that amount looks less by the day.

I think it is a big vote of confidence that the CFO, CEO and chairman have all bought this week. The 2x 200k buys yesterday were good as well. More and more shares entering "sticky hands", should create higher bottoms and create a slow rise up. Hopefully they buy more.

You post about wheels a lot. What makes you think an RNS is coming this week?

What's to stop BAE and BAB from buying the same kit? This will improve us massively, reduce costs and allow us to bid for more competitive contracts, but I imagine our competitors will also be eyeing up kit like this if they can afford it - which BAE can.

I've no issue with the company laying people off there if there isn't enough work for them. Although it is horrible to see anyone lose their jobs. Hopefully the company supports them the best they can.

It seems like thst yard is set up for offshore wind contracts but the contracts just aren't here yet. JW has plans to get contracts in this sector and the Methil yard will likely grow again with it. Some of those losing their jobs now may one day be employed again there.

The Scottish government should be doing all it can to help the renewables sector in Scotland, but all they care about is independence.

I wonder what changed in it and why they would have needed public consultation. I see this as a positive as a public consultation would add months of delay. JW clearly wants to get building as soon as possible.

I'm finding it all exhausting to be honest. Nothing I or anyone says is going to affect the share price so there isn't much point of posting constantly. Even JW can't move the share price with positive RNSs or media pieces so I'm not sure what you expect our "support" to achieve. I'm going on holiday on Saturday for 9 days so I will be taking a break from it all unless news drops.

How cheap do they want it shrewed_mole? They could have bought for 14p a couple of weeks ago. What really happened at 14p was a bunch of PI traders bought the shares and sold them for 16-18p. I'm ok with a slow rise but to drop more than 10% after the news yesterday shows we are being played.

Ksp747 I think that is it really. We need some big investors to start buying. Small PIs tend to jump in and out hoping for quick profits, causing a yo-yo share price.

HarChris, I have sour memories of 2021 after being in ARB, DDDD, SNG and balls deep in RMM that year. Not one worked out. Happy to park my money here but I don't want the unexpected to happen once again so it concerns me a little when we don't rise on good news as we'd plummet on anything bad as per December 30th.

Hopefully the economy starts to improve in a few months as energy prices start to fall from July, inflation decreasing and interest rates will start to come down later in the year.

Unfortunately HarChris this crappy AIM market since early 2021 is all I have known. I imagine it comes in cycles but 2020 Covid bounce was likely exceptional. How long will it take AIM to regain some normality I wonder...
