The share price seems to have found a base around the 70p mark. Perhaps there has been some institutional buying in the background.

The company is in an excellent position with a hefty cash balance and opportunities much cheaper than they were several months ago.

The lack of certainly is probably contributing towards the drift, but if the directors were in any doubt they wouldn't be buying at market prices to the tune of £358k. Nothing is guaranteed of course, but you don't throw that sort of money around unless you're pretty confident about the outcome.

One day the farm-out RNS will drop and the price will leap higher and those same nervous holders will be kicking themselves.

As Simon Thompson states:

That's a lot of potential short-term upside.

The directors take a different view and have recently collectively bought £358k worth of shares above the current price.

Clearly they think the deal has a very good chance of succeeding.

ADVT is in a strong position here, with over £100m in cash ready to deploy as markets fall and valuations reduce.

In fact the further markets fall, the better a position the company is in with the ability to pick up companies much cheaper than it could several months ago.

A decent safety net too with a cash balance (£104m) greater than the market cap (£93m) and the knowledge that Vin Murria committed £17.5 million of her own money here at 100p on IPO.

Indeed a move back up to the IPO price from the current 70p mid would be 43%. And Vin Murria will be looking for a multiple return from her buy in price.

Whilst the attempt to buy SAA wasn't successful, Vin Murria has a long history of success and her last two listed companies returned shareholders 10x.

Nearly the end of October now and technical due diligence of interested parties complete. Getting closer and closer to potentially transformational news and a significant boost to the share price.

One of the rare opportunities of strong short term upside in the current market.

People were happy to chase up to 350p a few weeks back. The price could go very much higher than that on a successful farm out.

Good that the directors have skin in the game and are aligned with investors.

Andrew Benitz in particular with a chunky 702,176 shares. That's a £2 million exposure at the price. With such a large personal holding, he will be doing everything possible to ensure a good farm-out price.
