Delta was the big deal when it mutated and AVCT detected it and we still don't have a test in the UK or HUA anywhere in the world.

If not then, why now?

I too have taken a view that the break above 3.95p today was significant so bought my last tranche for now.

Govt's seem to get off on scaring the masses of imminent death. Sooner or later they will be right (a bit like my chart predictions), but in the meantime, I 'll paddle my own canoe I think.

(Remember we were all going to die in a third world nuclear war (late 60's), Mad Cow disease, Ice age (70's) Aids, obviously climate change now, , Sars, covid, pig flu, anti biotics are not going to work anymore, the list goes on.)

Oneknows, just because I trade shares does not make me a liar. (Sometimes it feels I am being judged by others standards. So no, i don't lie, or make things up. I express my views as i see them in good faith. I am in no need of money so desperately that i would lie and try and cheat my way to get more. Its quite a thing you said to me there.)

I have no facility to short stocks. this is a hobby, I can only go long, I want the SP to go up.

The only difference I think i can see, is that I am prepared to sell some of my holding if I think the SP is likely to fall, whereas the majority on this BB, seem to think that if anyone does sell (for any reason), they are Satan's helper.

This juvenile and frankly silly view is not condusive to maximising gains (imo)

RD, we know its not HUA because that order would have to go to Medusa, so its a "significant" business order.

It just doesn't make sense to me.

AVCT comms on this now is quite something.

all the LFT hype, then silence, is the silence because nothings happening or he just does not need to tell the market?

It is a public company and not his plaything simply to mess Pi's around with.

Thanks for the reply amin, and I am not having a go or anything just discussing this view point as (as I said) it comes up on most BB's at some time or other.

Basically (imo) tough. If someone has invested in a stock comes on to a BB and sells because they get nervous because of a post that has no merit then they should never have bought in the first place.

I have said on many occasions, that I think by and large, all these BB's do more harm than good for either LTB&H, or either very new investors, or simply over emotional folk who simply cannot deal with the fear & greed that this type of activity generates.

amin, I mentioned 3.6p as a support as the SP closed below 3.95p in a request for a TA slant on things but specifically said it did not mean it would fall to there.

I did say , should I want to top up I would think about it, if it got to that level.

This is a game where typically PI's will purchase stock at £1000's at a time.

If an individuals are new to this then they should NEVER EVER buy more than you can comfortably afford to lose. Then whatever happens they can rest and sleep easy, but this is a game for grownups and if the individual can't deal with the ups and downs then they should not invest.

Stocks fall for a variety of reasons, it should not be assumed that to discuss such falls or potential falls, makes any poster a deramper.

To immediately catagorise posters as such, can create animosity that is often misplaced.

I am confused:

Currently AVCT have 1m per month production capacity with GAD. (Is that correct?)

I have assumed that it is nor running to capacity only because at £1 profit per test that would be a meaningful income and would warrant an update I would have thought?

So if there is a sizeable order that is just been sitting there waiting to be fulfilled then why hasn't GAD done it? Why are we waiting for ABDX?

Why hasn't Medusa done it either?

So if we are making £12m per year pro rate (a multiple of annual earnings) then why hasn't AVCT told the market?

Does it make sense to anyone here?

AVTA releases good potentially great news on the expansion on the AVA6k trial and the SP is lower now 24 hours later after the event.

Perhaps its not about avacta, but what the market "thinks" the future holds. Its not the same thing.

Avacta are the same company today that they were yesterday, yet the company is worth less on the back of good news.

My posts don't make any difference to any ones investments as far as I am aware.

It's quite a strange thing that my detractors all claim that I have a detrimental influence on the SP and/or other posters investments here, but I have only ever been told in fact, that I make no difference to anyone.
