Just a consideration. Not commercially viable could mean "Not Commercially viable on its own" We may find reserves allocated to this well with the full analyses, just not enough to develop a field. Excuse my bad memory but I recall a mention of something like 200m bbls being quoted as break even, so if there is 100m then its not commercially viable as a stand alone but as pert of a bigger picture it would be meaningful. Perhaps I am being over optimistic, but hope that next RNS with full analyses will shed light.

Pocko, it seems that he is trying to link the environmental process to the permit process, which could mean that the existing applications will wait for the new documents to be assessed. If that is the case, the document will of course be 3 months late and then the application will be reviewed. This would mean no answer till mid 22.

Dont know where the number 50 mill bbls came from but this probably would not be considered commercial. However dont forget the "Working Petroleum System" which may prove to be the critical point. As has been said before, a major would have considered this as sufficient to drill another well.

We are long overdue an update. If that update is "Waiting on the Gov waiting on UNESCO" then I would respectfully suggest that the company isn't doing enough to move this forward.

They stopped short of what I thought was the primary target, the Lower Cretaceous. I believe this is a prolific horizon in the region and the GOM.......I cannot understand why they did not drill to TD as planned. Antha's explanation may fit this, but I am looking for anything positive :-)
