Legal battle is only option after so long. This will take another 5 years. We should form a shareholder fund to sue the government for our losses.

In September 2019 the government stated that they could not comment on Kallak as the document was being prepared regarding the award. It doesn't take 18 months to prepare the document.
If the UNESCO question was asked to be confirm by the PM before signing off, even that took more than a year to get to albeit they will use COVID as the excuse for that delay.
At some time we have to call Bull****..........Enough is enough. I say we should start legal proceedings as the KU reporting the incompetency did nothing. As Eric pointed out, how much damage has this done the company. Even if we get the award now, we should be compensated for this ridiculous wait.

Its reasonable to assume Baylan is acting on orders, but if his ministerial task is for employment growth then he should be answering the PM's concerns so it can move forward.
It is difficult to know where to hang the blame, you assume the greens, yet long ago they said they would follow the rule of law, and KB has assured us that the application follows the rule of law.
Would be interesting to know what they wait for though. Is it Unesco response, if so why dont they follow it up having come under such criticism. Surely not waiting for the next election.

The original plan was to drill 30-45 days. BPC stopped drilling because in the 70% drill undertaken, commercial quantities had not been found and it was not worth doing a geological exercise for the remaining depths. It wasn't a half job done.

The debate was regarding the minerals policy. There were several motions for change and debate held. The decisions on the 24th March are to agree or reject the motions and the changes to the minerals policy.

The suggestion was that the debate has been held and motions suggested. There appeared to be a list of rulings on the motions however it states on the website that decision will be taken regarding the debate on 24th March. That is decisions for all the proposed motions.

Good debate, good to hear Kallak specifically mentioned a couple of times. I liked the emphasis on the "Not in my back yard" statement and the discussion about how to control environmental mining is to do it yourself.

Why does everybody think that the best JV offer will come less than 1 week after the EPO award?
Why do all the PI's feel that GR should be taking the first deal and not trying to negotiate the best deal?

Look at GR's shares. The more money we make, the more money he makes. Let him negotiate. As someone mentioned, fundamentals are the same, product in the ground did not change yesterday and the value did not change.

Im not able to value the lithium in Zulu but a couple of days ago someone suggested 51 billion dollars for what has been identified and only 1/3rd of the lease explored. This is 100% ours to exploit....
I believe the govt own 51% (perhaps someone could confirm, I think thats the mining deal in Zimbabwe), there is cost to get it out, there is shipment and tax but when it all comes together, this looks like at least a quid a share, albeit that may be a couple of years away............Get it while you can :-)
