What have they delivered ? How astute are the management team Can they be trusted to deliver ? How late was the “pipeline” What are the risks associated with political unrest AGAIN in Columbia ? Are the farmers happy ? Are we likely to see strikes again? What is the current exploration success rate ? How many dusters have they drilled ? Compare the share price to any other oily this year ! How does it compare ?

Nice to Michu From a technical standpoint the shares are at all time lows ! There are no previous support levels! There may be physiological levels at 8p 5p etc! But no technical support levels! Management are one of the best paid on AIM! G&A costs are atrocious! Yet doc is a coc wants to spew his bile and anger towards me rather than the management who have lost him his shirt and pants!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see it at 8p or lower very soon! It’s currently trading on a PE ratio over 22! Let that sink in. As a comparator ,TRIN is trading on a PE ratio less than 5!!! RRE is trading on a PE ratio of less than 2!! SDX , FPM, SQZ, BP, OPHR and SOCO are all trading on 2019 PE ratios on single figures! Even Malcy pumping this couldn’t help it !!

You mention Genel and GKP : they were hampered by geopolitical issues in Kurdistan! They have actually been delivering operationally. They are not in the same league as this ! They are aspiring for 50,000 BOPD! Bowleven was run by a bunch of Edinburgh leaches! Max petroleum gambled! They drilled a 7000 meter well that the they didn’t have the cash for and when that ran into operational issues it was curtains!

I was researching this one a few years ago in the 40s then they seemed good value in the 20s ... I did some research but opted to invest in SDX & FPM instead .. I kept it on my watch list hoping that the trend would improve and the price would start moving upwards so that I can buy but the fall is relentless!! Serious question is this one of the worst London listed oilies ? It surly must be in the same league as AMINEX , VOG and Rose etc! The management have been appalling! The Colombian environment hasn’t helped and corporate governance still leaves a lot to be desired! The only thing preventing AMER from heading the same way as MAX Petroleum and Nighthawk Energy is it’s balance sheet and cash in hand ! Even at this ludicrous SP it’s still trading on a PE Ratio of 22.8!!! That’s frothy for a company with such a murky history of under delivery and poor performance!!! Have I got this wrong ?

I agree jinx that long term there is likely to be a recovery but jumping in at 3p is probably playing your hand too soon! The company is in hibernation mode and back to “fast” follower status... the SP may very well drift as PIs become restless and move on ... I have no experience with Korean HJ’s so couldn’t possibly comment but yes I suspect that there will be dilution as soon as there is a sustained rise... I just hope he doesn’t shoot too soon !
