Pickedpeck This has to be the most envious post of the past month ! When I say small, I mean small ( relatively speaking) ! I have 6 figure sums in other companies! This is nowhere near that ! So small beer... As for my price target .... let the trend be your friend ;) You approaching breaking even yet ?

Latest production above 27,500 and we have a number of developments planned which may increase those number into 2019...

They wrote off half of Fortuna at 300 million... they still have a carrying value of 300 million which will be written off if we don’t hear anything over the next few weeks ... if it disappears it’s not the end of the world! The uncertainty isn’t helping ....

Thanks Opulenta Due to your active “promotion”, I jumped on here last week around 12p average with a smallish holding ... will add to it higher up to manage risk ... I also want to thank the dads army guys on this BB who have managed to ramp this so hard to convince me to part with my cash ( the lieutenant, the Sargent, The colonel, the unlucky tw1t) In all honesty this is a quick trade/ punt rather than a long term hold but thanks all the same .... the few grand I’ll make here will be nice ... cheers Long live AMER

1) The obvious (oil price, FTSE, BREXIT etc) 2) Missing SD target until potentially June 2019 3) postponement of other drilling activity until H2 2019 in order to preserve cash for SD capex spend! Some large investors have decided to take their cash and come back after they have eaten their Easter eggs April 2019. There’s a lot of value in the market at the moment (other oilies are trading on a PE of 1-2! Some are trading at cash in the bank) Long term SDX is solid ! Short term .... who knows

Gizzy They can’t buy back their own shares because they don’t have the cash to do so! We have stopped drilling because we need cash flow and available cash in order to cover the CAPEX for South Disouk!

It’s neither 1, 2 or 3! The market has simply undervalued the assets and the cash flow ability Ophir and is now ready for a correction to the upside! Simples

Bannor No thanks I just thought it was misleading by having the difference appear more than it is on first view! Once you do the conversion you actually realise that the market has basically discounted the G&A from 2019 from the cash in hand which is very understandable

If Chinese were given access to data so they can study it and decide if they want to have a financial interest, there would be non disclosure agreements preventing them from parading it at oil conference! It just doesn’t make any sense !

Guys pressure of 19psi is ridiculous! It must be a typo! Atmospheric pressure is 14.7psi! It is physically impossible for oil to flow to surface at a reservoir pressure of 19psi! At that sort of pressure the well will almost want to go into a state of vacuum! Impossible!!

I know he’s not officially still in charge (dither boony) ! He’s running things behind the scene .. jay is his man and he is holding the strings ! The company will forever be associated with Brian! He has become a multimillionaire many times over because of shareholders and left them holding the baby ! The company has been around since early 1990s and delivered nothing to share holders!!! It was valued at twenty odd pence a while back ! Now at 1.7!!!! Even the introduction of Jay was twisted! He came from another venture that Brian was a shareholder in and bringing him to Aminex was a way for them to exit Georgia and have aminex shareholders pay for it!!! At 1p it might be worth a punt ! Currently Very inflated! Bad company with murky history operating in a volatile part of the earth!

Could be in a net cash position by end of Q1 !! Not bad .... add in additional production gains expected and soon cash stash will be increasing sharply

It’s normal right now ! Even well companies are being valued at cash ! RRE Rockrose as an example recently had more cash than market cap they also had a market cap less than 1 year profits ! The cash is dwindling and Lazza has shown he has a great track record and ability of being able to spunk it ! I like the comments about potential new licence ! If it’s Guyana then some confidence in Lazza May be installed ... if it’s Brazil we'll take it ! Please no more Morocco or Namibia !!

Why use 2 different currencies? To confuse? Or to make it more difficult to compare?

There’s something rotten about Nigeria ! It won’t be a disaster if they cancel the deal and focus on Niger ! Afren still gives me shudders ! Even if the deal goes through, will we have sleepless nights worrying if a Nigerian warlord will swindle our cash and take us for ride downtown Abuja or down the coast of port harcourt? This is not one for widows or orphans! If it hits 20-21p I’ll buy some more to average down and speed up my break even ...
