Jeez I thought a GBP was 1.6 Canadian dollars sounds like it’s closer to 1.75! Yikes Morocco is stable and had this been a pure Egypt play I wouldn’t have touched it with a barge pole ! The problem with Morocco is that the volumes are small even at 24 mill scufs... to make it a solid long term hedge volumes in Morocco need to be 4 or 5 times those volumes... I’m also in TXP and TRIN for my sins and they are very very risky because of the Trinidad SBT which kicks in when WTI is at 60 ! So it’s better for Trinidadian stocks if oil is below 60 or significantly above ....

Unfortunately not, I didn’t get in that early ... my average is around 12 which I’ll be looking to increase after the flow test results I’m not sure about your dizzy 1 pound or even 60p projections but I think 20p -24 p might be doable in a stable 60-75 dollar oil environment by mid late 2019 I’m happy with that kind of gain 100% for 6 months investment ain’t too bad Thanks again matey! Anything below 5p will put the nail in the coffin for long term investors above 8p Then we’ll go into a cycle of study data, acquire seismics , open data rooms , discuss discuss discuss farming out etc etc etc! Seems we are roughly in the same boat! Not a particularly fun boat but nevertheless the same boat! I purchase all my shares through brokers .. you can buy or sell whenever so I didn’t understand that comment about broker I bought my latest chunk here yesterday at 40.6 average to further reduce my average but won’t buy anymore until SD is on stream and delivered! I would also like further diversification away from unsafe Egypt may be in to another country in MENA area

Regarding the “upside and risk”! All investments have risks ! They are different types of risks ! I invested big sums into SDX knowing the risks therefore can’t blame anyone else I knew the Pharos are corrupt and may need their personal accounts lubricated in order to sanction developments ala SD I knew that an Arab spring could happen any minute and I could lose my investment ala 2011-2014 I knew that if the Egypt ministers needed cash they can keep a hold of my money just because they could ! They don’t have to give any of it back unless they felt like it! I knew that at certain times of the year that the country shuts down and a 9-5 in Egypt is a sandwich I knew the risks over there and therefore like everyone else who bought shares here in the past 2 years I’m under water I manage the risks by investing in 10-12 companies at a time

For some reason the market either still doesn’t trust Egypt or doesn’t have faith in SDX! LMAO I’m not posting here to change any fundamentals! I’m just giving my opinion about my investments... I work in the industry ! Decommissioning costs are coming down all the time. They account for 20% of profits (small beer) Do what ever you feel comfortable with ! I have decided that i won’t be able to sleep at night gambling my net worth on a company in jurisdictions as corrupt as Egypt so have decided to mix and diversify You say you would not like to be offshore if we go into recession! I would not like to be in the market if we go into recession!! Nothing is safe in that scenario lol ! If you are old enough to remember previous recessions you’ll know that they don’t discriminate between onshore and offshore lol!

Why have one when you can have both What you have written about RRE is also incorrect They have 50% gas which has been very stable in price ! They have hedged some oil at $69/ BBL!!!!! Let that sink in!!! They have a number of fields in development which will increase the life of the assets ! In fact even their “old” assets have a longer life than Maseda in Egypt ! Which is a very late life asset! They are in a stable jurisdiction and get paid 30 days after invoicing! No huge receivables by the Faroes ! 50% cash is restricted yes They pay a dividend so you get paid while you wait I have a big investment here but over the next 6-8 months RRE will bring better joy to my portfolio! The same as it has done in the previous 4 months SDX in my portfolio =-25% RRE in my portfolio = +117 Which one do you think gives me sleepless nights?

Yes PE is expected to be slightly over 1 which is pretty much 1-2! EBITDA and Earnings/ profit will be similar if the company pays minimal tax, doesn’t pay any interest due to lack of debts, has minimal depreciation and no amortisation charges ! Which is the case with ROCKROSE ENERGY RRE I typically use EV rather the price (MC) which includes cash and debt.. Rockrose has an EV: EBITDA of less than 1!!!

Join the dots First of all , apologies I didn’t have the time to read the full thesis posted below .... but skimmed a couple of lines... so I’ll respond to what I read A) Bit of advice: do not get emotional with investing ! Your heart has no place in the market ! You need to continuely evaluate what is happening and act accordingly! B) My comments against The Amerisur board are still valid and I still stand by them ! They have led the destruction of share holder value from 60p to 9.8p while being paid one of the biggest salaries on AIM! If more shareholders stood up against fat cats may be they wouldn’t see it as acceptable! C) back to point A above, we must always use our head to assess investments, I will sell as soon as things change ! I’m not in love with Amerisur! This is a pure trade ! I don’t discriminate how or on which company I make money! It has the same value either way! I will evaluate regularly and then decide! D) I guess math isn’t your strong topic which is worrying when you are investing ! Decimal places are disregarded when dealing with number if figures LOL LMAO I haven’t posted here for a couple of weeks but was reading the bb regularly!
