those who called for the EGM, paid for the legal fees, and spent months getting brokers to prove their holdings. Someone posted that there should be a help PDF that can be shared across all AIM/Main market groups on steps to take to call and EGM and what BS reasons a company will provide to try to avoid one. Not happening this time.

I heard the FCA was also copied in on the EGM request and Lunn has acknowledged receipt. So at the moment there WILL be an EGM.

Latest date for the EGM to have occured is the 12th September. If 21 days from 25th July passes with the EGM not being called then the members who called for the EGM can call the meeting themselves.

When submitting a formal request to a UK company to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), the company's directors are legally obligated to call the meeting within 21 days of receiving the request. The meeting itself must then be scheduled to take place no later than 28 days after the notice calling the meeting is sent out.

Hopefully will be hearing from brokers soon - I assume similar to prior EGM request earlier in the yeah, but optimised to reduce "frivolous and vexatious" requests (quoted from CA2006 rofl - what a get out clause to let companies off the hook of which the CA2006 is meant to be protecting shareholders).

Does this mean that income from the OO purchase can be used to complete the purchase, or has that already happened so now just need to pay the original owners (i.e. getting it up and running, paying them off, and in the meantime profit profit profit)?

my 2cents for what it's worth.

if flagstaff replied it is either their take on it, or, it is ppp's take on it. if flagstaff then who cares, if ppp then why aren't they focussing on getting the ******* accounts out to shareholders and force lunn to stop sitting on them

Interesting - I read that as to how it would be structured as in will HUI have a child company who will deal with that arm of the business, or will it be part of the main company, or are there are other efficient structures for the acquisition. This can all take time of course and also explains the delays we are seeing. I would also agree 49m shares at 1.4p isn't exactly stonking, which is maybe why HW is persuing a preIPO with PIs or a major investor (also in the same RNS) - this means he then gets a valuation for OO and then both companies can see if the 49m shares is appropriate at this SP or if some other mechanism could be applied.

Hmm not sure on HW buying OO for £10m - seems rather a lot for what at the time was a small operation. Where did we hear about that value? Agree delay from last year was due to poor outcomes, but at least the update as of June it looks to have cleared that and is fully in production with current greenhouses.

Agree lee - that's my point too. if things moves as fast as they appear to in MENA/GCC then a) HUI wouldn't have bothered getting this 6 month exclusivity for MENA so soon, nor HUI being bullish on timelines. Once that first agreement happens it means it's happening. Hopefully we get the 100% signed agreement and not some HoT (although i can see how that is material) or if we do get HoT or something we need a specific date at which the deal will be finalised so it gives certainty to the market.

I can honestly see this, if just 10 units (projects) are built, to have an MCAP 20x what it is now - as a mixture of equity in the 10 projects as well as the management fees, ongoing service fees, and so on.

Affrm - Oh I am sure Hepran is absolutely over the moon knowing that is lord and master will soon be booted via legal EGM process for obstruction of shareholder rights as well as achieving nothing in his tenure apart from damaging the reputation of PPP by false raises, deals, and dilution in order to selfishly achieve his own ends, not that of PPP.

What rubbish DrAl. go back to PHE. Honestly I don't understand what it is about your plebs coming over to HUI when not invested and kindly warning us. Most of us are also in PHE! But this is the more likely to hit profit and growth far far sooner. So I am rooting for this.
