CAMAC Energy's ZJS1-4 wells were all CBM and commercial.

They could be weighing up the pros and cons of wether to crack on with the current project targeting tight gas or to switch to CBM. To be honest it's the only explanation I can think of for the delays and lack of progress. They wouldn't mention this kind of indecision in an RNS

Ok, as I sit here with a stinking hangover I've been reading about CBM, mainly because I'm looking at Alkane Energy as my next investment. So it got me thinking back to the last LRL RNS, specifically the ZJS7 update. "Multiple potential pay zones have been encountered with cumulative intervals of around 48 metres, as well as 24 metres of coal seams." "The main target intervals have reported good porosity and in some cases very high permeability but with low resistivity, indicating the potential to flow water." So, during my research I found this. "Coal seams contain both water and gas. During coal seam gas operations the water must be pumped out of the coal seam to lower the pressure and allow the gas to flow to the surface." Typical cumulative commercial seam thickness for CBM is circa 20-30m according to a recent DECC report. I wonder if LRL will look at the possibility of CBM extraction as an alternative, may explain the delay....

I suppose they hav only flow tested one zone on well 5 and so the true resource size is unknown. If 7 flows commercially then we are well on the way to de risking the whole project.

So far this year I have taken 30% profit from xel and igas. I have also excepted similar losses on trp and sxx after steep declines. I currently sit evens for the year, with this share holding back the profits elsewhere. My point is that I have lost faith n LRL and PA, but the new additions and the lack of news leaves me convinced we are about to see some big changes which should stimulate the SP and hopefully push beyond the 12p avr I have so I can get out with some dignity.

From what I understand mt leyshon wouldn't be reactivated as a fully functioning mine but they will just run the pay dirt that is still piled up ready to go. Just need the price to go up as you suggested. I really hope that lrl acquire a new prospect, $3 million won't last long on these guys wages!

I agree with you, but it's always good to speculate, bring things to the forum, exchange views and opinions. We are all here to make a profit, it's also nice to have some fun along the way too!

I meant to say lrl resources shares will be sold by investors in favour of lrl energy shares as the resources currently will only have the mt leyshon project in the locker and that has been sidelined until it becomes economically viable. Correct me if I'm wrong ultra?

They stated late Nov or early Dec, so that means around July next year from the past history of LRL timelines!. This is the series of events i think we will see, in no particular order, or backed up with any evidence or logic, just a few thoughts based on what little we have been told. 1. News of progress with exploration block licence aquisitions to sweeten ZSJ7 flowing water. 2. Share split vote/announcement (Late Dec early Jan). 3. Everyone will sell LRL resources and buy more Energy shares as the resources side won't actually have anything worth investing in. 4. Announcement of 3 more wells in the ZSJ series starting next year not 6. 5. Purchase of onshore/offshore exploration blocks in China, resulting in second round of exploration after ZSJ finished. 6. Announcement of reactivation of Mt Leyshon or aquisition of a second mine/s. I think we will see some eratic SP movement, but i doubt it will go much beyond 12p in the next 6 months. Thoughts?

I remember him popping up on here as stocktrade1 a few weeks ago, I could be mistaken. So ultra, it's been quiet here, what do you think is going on at lrl at the moment?
