But we all know there is no guarantee of that! I'm confident and holding long term, some interesting moves recently that must signal a change strategy and even expansion

As I have already posted, going off zjs5 timelines we can expect RNS stating the commencement of flow tested on Monday and results a week after.

I would be surprised if they could buy so close to market changing news.

Friday or Monday for rns announcing the commencement of flow testing and also whether they will spud another well before the winter. Did I imagine it or did PA state that they would mobilise a second rig? Fingers crossed, would be nice to break above my 13p average.

And going off previous timelines that's in 2 weeks. Agonisingly slow.

Should also be announced along with announcement of the commencement of flow testing. In theory.

Just revisited the ZJS5 RNS' to second guess the timeline forZSJ7. ZJS5 12 days from TD achieved to identify which pay zones to flow test. Then a further 8 days until flow test completed. Therefore we should get an RNS confirming flow testing beginning circa 29 Sept and results by 7 Oct. We shall see!

Its pretty hard reading but my interpretation is: A Bacteria in the ground at reservoir depth in the Ordos basin produces pyrite through a biological process utilising the rock and sulphur. Pyrite is attributable to low resistivity as well as small grain size therefore mitigating the risk that water may be present.

Is better known as the home of robin hood rather than the home of lse listed companies. But as I lived in the area for a few years I I now why. There are a lot of disused deepcast mines in the norh notts/south yorks area. Although I would expect the methane will run dry eventually, im interested in investing here after making a nice profit on igas. So my question to the holders Is, what is the long term attaction here? And what mention has the company made of fracking or onshore exploration as a whole?

I've been looking into this and interestingly came across this fact. "Other causes of low-resistivity pay include small grain size and conductive minerals like pyrite." Seems too good to be true doesn't it.

Now this is just speculation but what kind of price do we think this will be with a commercial find similar to well5? 18p has been banded around in the past, 15-18p I think would be realistic.

Be patient. We have had 2 in the last week. Won't be another week until we get the RNs that will really make a difference.

I have been thinking about this and have even gone back to the books to re educate myself on share splits. It mentions pro rata on the RNS. I assume the split will be relative to the cash value of each. For example 80% Energey and 20% Resources, to pluck a figure out of the air. So if i hold 10000 LRL shares i will get 8000 Energy and 2000 Resources and the mkt caps will be adjusted as necessary. Theoretically the SP should be adjusted to avoid any cash loss to shareholders, according to % split and value. My concern is that brokers and PIs will shuffle their shares around and there will be some volatility in both SPs because the Resources business does not seem as attractive as the Energy side and some people may just want to sit it out and observe what happens.

All true, but lets not forget this is the first venture, maybe its poor advice? I feel your frustration If he doesnt start getting his timescales more realistic people will lose confidence even more so, he has now had plenty of opportunity to learn!

I agree with the "why would they demerge if news was negative" argument - It would be suicide, but stranger things have happened. I think the market has reacted the way it has because of the mention of water in the last RNS, which is understandable. The fact that have seem to have been honest is a bonus. Also until we get more information on the future plans for resources/energy some people may see the demerger as being risky. Only time will tell, but the last weeks news has increased my confidence in the company and the gas project.
