Its interesting to hear the significant shareholders are not selling , but are any buying large chunks at this price. At what level do the short sellers bail out as it appears they are not buying at the moment???

SORRY EVERYONE. I promise never to go on holiday again. ever ever.

In my last post I stated that every time I have gone on holiday for the last 6 years my portfolio has suffered badly. Well returned from a week away yesterday to the worst possible news re SXX. I have decided never to take a holiday again and being £22k
down I don.t think I can afford one for quite awhile. Unless of course everything from now on goes without a hitch.

Thanks Scotsman for the info. Will just sit tight and go with the flow. I stopped panicing years ago. Though one strange things has happened for the last 6 years. Everytime I go on holiday my portfolio suffers badly. I go on holiday tomorrow so hoping a break in the sequence.

Am I right in assuming that the recent increase in the shorts so near to the $500m bond issue is because the hedge funds believe the bond will fail and CF and his men will be running around like headless chicken trying to raise finance elsewhere.If you look at the deal Gina has got from SXX then I am sure she would put in a few more $100m. with an even better deal

The last few days and going forward for a few weeks is a tree shaking exercise cutting out the chaff. Thousands of small investors worried about the $500m bond failure are now panicking. Short sellers are jumping in and out and day traders are doing the same. The bond will not fail bringing stability and upward momentum for the shares. Sit tight and enjoy the ride upwards, a few minor drops along the way. 6months time should see 25p or there abouts with 40p coming in the new year after updates on good progress.

Sirius was always one of those companies that would go through many periods of high volatility by its very nature a risky share on first look. Look deeper and at all the fundamentals, the management is first class with mining and finance background. The project is well on track,though not to say there may be problems ahead. Being the largest project in Europe at the moment with backing from several wealth funds and Gina , JPM as its now chosen finance broker, this is not only a project that will get finished but Sirius will in the end be one of the largest fertiliser produces in the world and as C Fraser says a FTSE 100 company. I am in for the long term with for me my largest holding at anytime in one company. Some would say last throw of the dice but the dice is weighted in shareholders favour.
