Anybody know todays big after the close trades

Expect a mixed bag towards end of day. Alot of buying and selling as PIs jockey for position. Who has the strongest nerves over the bank holiday weekend buyers or sellers???

Nice to see some big buys after the close. Investors beginning to think there is going to be upward momentum and want to get in before it starts

From reading the posts on here it seems that the big institutions not only hold 10s if not 100s of millions of shares they are also the biggest shorter's. What better way to make massive profits then to win on the shorts triggered by pulling the bond issue and then winning again when they sell at the second issue. Pulling the bond sale placated the big institutions and gave them the money to buy to the bonds to reap what they have sown

Well if you believe what Motley Fool say's Sirius Minerals is totally finished. Gone girl!! Knackered with no chance of going forward. no chance finished.
I am sorry but they have great potential great product, finance will come at Stage 2 if not other options of finance will come into play ie

Could someone answer a question that has been bugging me. Sirius has always stated that they would be issuing the bonds late in the quarter as was their intention all along. Why then did they start the process early August when the main players in the bond market were on holiday. It seems to me that for what ever reason it was done deliberately knowing that they would not sell forcing down the share price. CF was a top mining financier and would have known the optimum time to launch the bonds. Beginning of August was no where near the optimum time. It just seems to me it was some sort of market manipulation. of the share price and as to the RNS that it was withdrawn because of market conditions. CF would have known exactly the market conditions before the launch. It just stinks to me

Just read an old RNS dated 17.03.2016 which in the part for Stage 2 financing it states that Sirius Minerals pre qualified for a Government Infrastructure guarantee in 2015. Does this mean that the Government would have to guarantee the bonds or does the guarantee relate to something else

Nothing is going to happen between now and 1st week of September except the SP moving up and down in a small range. The 1st week September will be the crunch time leading up to the statement of if the bonds have sold. when I believe many shareholders will make a final decision of whether they are in or out. Expect alot of volatility then. I have decided to stop looking every day at the sp and the board as its driving me nuts.

Sirius is nowhere need the administration stage. Stop listening to the rubbish. Because of what can and cannot be said in the market place and paiculiary from Sirius we are in a whirlpool of confusion and panic. What will happen come early September is the bonds will be put forward and they will be taken up . Please everyone stop looking at the share price and posts and get a good nights sleep

Nice to see the day end in Blue, but lets look at the whole picture.Bonds withdrawn share price halves as expected . Fear and panic grips the share price Long Term Holders take fright Sell off in their thousands. Day traders move in together with short sellers, market makers also see the situation move in for the kill. Typical piranha situation.
The price 8p is the bottom at the moment. The price will bounce up and down for several week until 2nd September when Bonds will be taken up.Stop panicking

I cannot believe that having all the facts in front of them regarding the stage 2 financing that the big investors would lay out over $ 800 million on equity and 1st bond raise and then not support the $ 500 million Bond sale. It just does not add up. Are we really going to believe that they would throw away $ 800 rather then put what is approx 10% of total build in the pot.

The litmus test here is the short sellers. Do they have the balls to wait or start to unload before they rise. With respect they have far more knowledge then the investors here, but today,s news puts a new slant on things. If the short sellers still feel strongly that the bonds will fail then we will know pretty shortly as they will not reduce their positions. Watch them closely, it will give the strongest indication whether the bonds will go through or fail.
