It seems to be a British national pastime to rubbish British Companies, we seem to gloat when someone succeeds and and take pleasure when they fail, unlike the Americans who champion success. Why are we not seeing some press release from SXX confirming all the positives and calm the market, though I know the SXX share is now in panic territory and the shorters and day traders are in a feeding frenzy on the remains of whats left of the stalwart LT PIs. SXX should emply Sean Bean to promote the company with the slogan " This is not any old POLYHALITE this is YORKSHIRE POLYHALITE" That should see the share price rise

It says it all. What I find astonishing is that the Times even printed the article from one of SXXs competitors as it gave them the open opportunity to slay their competitor. They are hardly going to say what a great company SXX is and we think what they are doing will be world changing event in the fertiliser when they finish the project. They are scared of SXX denting their own profits and must be feeling really chuffed they were able to air all the negatives in The Times

Strange that not one director has bought even £10 worth of SXX shares at these ridiculous low prices. Surely that gives the biggest insight into how they feel where SXX is at the moment

If one looks at Sirius since its inception and its long term plan, one is looking at something similar to The Grand National. There have been many fallers along the way many hurdles/jumps to contend with. refinance etc We have now reached Beachers Brook 2nd time round, everyone is tired but the winning post is in sight and all we all need is a clear jump and we are away, a couple of years of stabilility, funds buying in the real money flooding in and a steady rise in the SP

I think you have your sums wrong £410 million divided by 85000 investors equals approx £ 5000 each

JPM must have a lot of confidence in SXX to offer 2.5Billion though syndicated around the banks. If it has that much confidence and given how much has been raised up this point, why does,nt JPM just loan SXX the $ 500m in some form or another. Deals can be done and theres billions swishing around unless dare I say it that stage 2 was set up to fail at this point with the money people moving in to snap up SXX on the cheap with JPM still there for the backing of the new company. I hope things work out ok and Sirius raise the money otherwise they will have to rename the company ICARUS

Just read a good article on Bloomberg but cannot do the link . Try searching. It reiterates that because of market conditions and US V CHINA the high risk bond buyers have fled the market to safe havens. So Sirius not the only one to suffer. Just that their launch of the bonds could not have been worse timing.

Has anyone actually thought that it was CF who pulled the Bonds because having spoken to the big investors and not the money men who came up with 13.5% he feels by waiting until September he can get them away at a lower rate. No I have not been smoking anything funny.

We were given the impression by all the reports that the Bond Sale was a done deal, just the formality of getting the documents done and collecting the $500 million. Like everyone feeling cheated at the moment. Sucked in and spat out

We PIs are on the outside with no real access to what is going on behind the scenes with Sirius The bankers , fund managers and Wealth Funds, have everything needed to make an investment decision. The way I see it is they all would have run the ruler over Sirius and looked at the Stage 2 financing with due diligence knowing all of its components and what was needed to unlock the 2.5b revoling credit to take the mine to completion. Why else would they have stumped up 800 million dollars as I believe the take up of shares by PIs was only 3%. Only a mad gambler would stump up that sort of money if they thought there was any chance the 500 million would not be raised. Are they really willing to lose that investment when all they have to do is put more in to take the project through to completion.
